Elodie lays down, listening to her roommate and friend bicker about something. She cannot believe them. She personally thinks that her friends, both Katerina and Corey, are annoying as hell. She suddenly found the whole world annoying. She didn't know why she felt like this. It was like she didn't know anything.
She felt sick, as if she ate something disgusting. She swallows, which didn't help with this aching feeling inside her.
Elodie blinks, looking from the ceiling to Katerina, who was standing at her door.
"Elodie," the girl said softly.
"What?" She replies in that snarky ass tone.
Katerina scrunches her nose, sitting next to the girl, "I just wanted to see if you were okay."
"I am."
"Really? You look... more depressed."
"What the fuck is that supposed to mean?"
"I didn't mean it like that! You just look sad."
"Really?"
She nods.
"You don't have to pretend to care about me."
Elodie continues in a soft-spoken tone, "I hope you know that."
"Who said I was pretending? I'm.. at least I think I'm a pretty nice girl."
Elodie rolls her eyes in response. She genuinely did think that she was nice. However, she will never admit that.
She also thought she was pretty.
Elodie shakes the thought from her head, rubbing her temples, "Thank you," she glares up at her, "Is that all?"
Katerina nods, grinning a bit, "I think so."
The pale girl watches as Katerina stands up and begins to walk away.
"Rina. Kat- Katerina," she suddenly spoke, making the brunette turn around. A smile tugs at Elodie's lips before her face returns to its normal blank expression, "I tolerate you."
Katerina's grin widens, "I like you too, Elodie."

Elodie looks at herself in the mirror, admiring yet critiquing her pale, slim figure. She looks down, tugging at the black sweater vest she wore. She fixes the collar of her white button down.
She smoothes out any wrinkles on her baggy black pants. She looks back up, fixing her hair, too. She breathes in, then out.
