Mindy and Tara are seen sitting in the back of an ambulance. Anika was between the two girls, head resting on Mindy's shoulder. Corey was quelling Anika and Mindy, kissing them both on their foreheads and telling the girls how much she loved them. She kept repeating the phrases "I'm sorry I wasn't there" and "it should've been me."
However, Quinn was resting in the bed in the ambulance. Thank god she made it.
Sam looked at the girls from afar, placing a cigarette between her lips. She looks over at Katerina, eyelids fluttering.
"I'm sorry, Kat."
Katerina sniffles, the smell of smoke reminding her too much of her— of Elodie.
Sam immediately puts out the cigarette once she realizes. She looks over her shoulder to see Danny.
"This isn't your fault, Sam," he speaks softly.
"But it is," she replies.
She looks back at the girls, who are now being comforted by Chad.
"Someone took our knives. So we couldn't fight back. I don't know who I can trust."
Danny walls closer to Sam, "then don't trust anyone. Not your friends, not me, not anyone."
Sam looks at Danny as he walks away.
Katerina's eyes narrow as Vance walks up to her, hands in his pockets and his lips pressed into a thin line.
"I'm sorry about what happened."
Katerina blinks, "It's fine. Are you okay?"
"I could be better. I hope you know that- that Elodie loved you, dude."
"What?"
Vance nods, "Yeah. She liked you."
Katerina scoffs, "She didn't act like it."
The latter chuckles in response, "That's just her way of showing love."
The girl goes silent, jerking away as Vance pats her shoulder.
He then walks over to Chad, asking him what happened.
Ethan moves the caution tape, walking beneath it.
He looks around, not daring to even ask what happened.
Chad looks over at him, eyes narrowing.
"Chad..."
