Tara and Sam walk along a park. The silence is deafening, but the older sister soon breaks it.

"We should've stayed with the others."

"That's not gonna happen," Tara replied.

"There's no point in putting both of ourselves at risk."

"I know," the shorter girl shrugs. "I'm your backup."

Tara smiles as she walks over to the van that Kirby and the others stayed in.

The cop is on her computer, typing something up. Her face scrunches up slightly as Mindy starts talking.

"So... we're really doing the phone tracing thing that never works in the movies? It'll be all 'Keep them talking, Sam!' 'Two more minutes! I've almost got him' and then he hangs up just before we can get a lock."

"I can trace a call in under fifteen seconds," Kirby says, looking over at the female Meeks twin.

Mindy smiles awkwardly, raising her brows.

"Well, you've got them out there as bait."

"Because the killer usually calls from somewhere nearby."

"And you think they're safe because it's broad daylight and a public place?"

"Look, I am here, okay? So is Bailey."

"This is exactly how our Uncle Randy died! Broad daylight, public place, yanked into a van, stab, stab, stab! No more Randy!"

Kirby goes quiet.

"Huh."

The silence was once again deafening. Ethan just awkwardly hands his cheetos over to Chad, who looks at him oddly and refuses.

Vance looks over at Mindy, "Mindy, I do hope you know that a killer wouldn't be stupid enough to kill here. Your Uncle was yanked into a van where nobody could see him. Plus, Sam and Tara sure aren't stupid enough to walk by suspicious vans."

Mindy raises her eyebrows once again, flipping Vance off, "That's exactly what a killer would say! Maybe you and your dead girlfriend were a duo before you killed her."

He sighs in response, "Fuck you."

Quinn sighs, "So, any suspects?"

Chad shrugs as Mindy's eyes narrow, "Your dad could easily be it! He is a cop after all."

Kirby clears her throat, which makes Mindy look around awkwardly.

"Hey Sam," Kirby says, "you good out there?"
