Chapter 8: Middlton Science Excursion

...3 Days after the first appearance of the Spider-Man... at Middleton High School, 3rd period...

Peter, Ripley, and Kevin sit at their drakes group in Mrs. Winterhaulter's class, the three are drawing on a poster board about Romeo and Juliet.

Kevin "So Peter... what are you building for the science fair?"

Peter "a miniature drone in the shape of a spider..."

Kevin "You seem to really like Spider-Man..."

Peter "Yep..."

Ripley "Peter... do you know how Harry is doing?"

Peter "nope... Mr.Osborn won't say anything "

Mrs. Winterhaulter "ok class...we leave this class in approximately 3 minutes."

Kevin "I'll take the poster up."

Ripley "Thank you kev."

Ripley "So Peter... what's up?"

Peter "What do you mean?"

Ripley "You seem preoccupied."

Peter "It's just the science fair is stressful."

...The Night before the Middleton science excursion...

Peter "Goodnight may..."

Aunt May "Goodnight dear."

Peter walks up the stairs and into his room.

Peter "My favorite part of the day."

Peter rips his glasses off his face and throws them onto his bed, he then continues to remove his shirt and pants to revalue the Spider-Man uniform, he opens his window and exits. Peter is standing on his roof he pulls his cowl over his face and jumps.

Spider-Man "Let's do this!"

*Twip*

...Peter is sitting on the edge of a bull bored in Manhattan...

Peter is controlling the drone he created.

Spider-Man "This thing works like a wonder."

*pop pop* *pop pop*

Spider-Man quickly stands and looks toward where the supposed gunfire came from.

*Twip*

Peter swings toward the edge of Manhatten. It's the darkest neighborhood on the island, he lands in a dark and shady alleyway, at the end there is a light, illuminating the area, and a man stands beneath the light. Spider-Man casually walks toward the man, deeper through the alley.

??? "Hello Spiderman...@

The man turns around, he's wearing a James Bond-like tuxedo.

Spider-Man "Who are you?"

??? "I am Agent Phil Coulson... and I need your help."

Spider-Man "agent... C.I.A.?... F.B.I.?"

Agent Phil Coulson "No I'm O.G.A."

Spider-Man "never heard of it..."

Agent Phil Coulson "Other government agency... but that's not the point... I need your help locating this man... last seen here in Hell's Kitchen, Tony Masters... calls himself Taskmaster... he went off the Rafa half a year ago but was recently seen here... I need you to keep an eye out..."

Spider-Man "ok... I guess."

Phil Coulson "hands Peter an envelope with Taskmaster's info inside.

Agent Coulson begins Tk walk away from Peter but then stops and turns around.
