Peter walks home after the science fair visualizing the robot attempting to crush him.
The pain he felt was like nothing he ever felt before. Peter stops in front of May's house, he is fearing for the lecture he will revive from May,
May then walks out of the house.
Aunt May "It's okay Peter... come in..."
Peter takes a large sigh and begins to walk up the menacing steps, he enters the door and sits down at the card table next to May.
The two sat in silence for a long minute.
May clears her throat
Aunt May "Peter... I understand why you didn't tell me... but I need to know something... do you want to be the spider guy?"
Peter "Yes may..."
Aunt May "What is your goal for this? What do you even benefit from this?"
Peter "I don't benefit anything may... I just want to help people..."
Aunt May "I need you to promise me something Peter..."
Peter "What is it may?"
Aunt May "I need you to promise to be careful out there... I just lost Ben... I cannot lose
You too... do you understand me."
Peter "I promise my... I promise..."
Mat grabs Peter's hand and pulls him into an embrace.
Peter "I need help though..."
Aunt May "I don't know if I'll be able to help..."
Peter "No... not from you... a while ago I met this guy... Luke Cage... I think he can help me learn to fight...so I can't get hurt."
Aunt May "So you want to go find him and stay with him for a while?"
Peter "Yes ma'am..."
Aunt May "ok Peter..."
