Chapter Six

LOUIS'S POV

I saw a girl standing behind Zayn, rubbing her eyes and yawning. No, not just any girl. THE girl.

"Mum, are you making cake-" she started to say, before she saw us and froze. Zayn and Harry turned around to look at her.

The girl stared straight at us.

"Shit." She whispered.

"Louis, I swear if you killed Liam with the spoon I will make you sleep outside in the rain!" Niall yelled. The girl's eyes went wide as soon as she heard his voice.

The girl shoved past Zayn and Harry and past me and Liam on the ground, running down into the basement.

"Lads?" Niall asked, and he walked into the living room.

"She-she-she-" Harry sputtered.

"HARRY I AM NOT A GIRL!" I complained, shooting him a look. The girl obviously wasn't supposed to be seen.

"But boobear... HE almost hurt Liam!" Harry corrected himself, pointing at me accusingly.

"He cheated!" I yelled, pointing at Liam. He shoved me off of him, rolling his eyes. Zayn stayed perfectly quiet.

"I didn't cheat, you all just suck at go fish!"he said quietly. He glanced over to the basement door, then back at me.

"Well, anyway, the cake is done. I want to surprise mum with it, she was in such a hurry when she left, she's probably so stressed out right now."

"We need frosting. Niall, do we have frosting?" I asked.

"... Damn it."

"NIALL LANGUAGE!" Liam and I yelled. Niall gave us a strange look.

"What? We swear all the time, I'm not a little kid..."

"You're our little snowflake, now go get in the car, I'll take you to the store and we'll buy some frosting." Harry said. Niall nodded, and ran upstairs.

"I'll go get my wallet."

As soon as Niall was upstairs, I got up off the floor and dragged Harry into the kitchen.

"Stall him, don't let him come home until I tell you to. Bring him to a million stores, kidnap him, do whatever! Just don't let him come back home." I whispered. Harry nodded, knowing exactly what I was talking about. The girl.

CHARLOTTES POV

I ran quickly past all the boys, and hid on the basement steps. I could hear the boys talking in the living room.

Shit. Shit. SHIT. I'm not supposed to be seen, now what? One mistake. It changes everything. EVERYTHING. I can't be seen again, I swear they will tell mum they saw a girl in the house and I will be dead meat. Mum will KILL me.

"... Damn it."

"NIALL LANGUAGE!"

"What? We swear all the time, I'm not a little kid..."

"You're our little snowflake, now go get in the car, I'll take you to the store and we'll buy some frosting." One of the boys said. I heard footsteps on the stairs to get to the second floor, and figured it wouldn't be long before they were all at the store and I could run upstairs and hide in my attic bedroom. Where I wouldn't be seen. Where I was safe.

I heard car tires from outside, and then I was blinded by a flash of light. I fell back, letting out a scream as I hit the rest of the steps.

"LIAM, YOU MADE HER FALL DOWN THE STAIRS!" A boy yelled, and I moaned out in pain.
