Raphs Final Mistake (Completed!)

Chapter 5: Its over.

•No one's POV•

While Leo and Raph were talking out their feelings to each other, Donnie was in his lab watching over Mikey while doing his work. Until he heard Mikey's heart monitor go from up and down lines, it went flat. Donnie jumped out of his chair and shut his lab doors. He needed full concentration to make sure his brother lived.

"Cmon Mikey.. don't do this right now." Donnie whispered to himself.

Donnie tried doing everything he could to get his young brother alive again. But nothing was working. Mikey was unresponsive.
Donnie broke. He gave up. He had been working at this for 3 minutes already and there was still nothing.

"RAPH, LEO GET IN HERE!" Donnie screamed.

Leo and Raph looked at each other with worry. They had no hesitation to run out of Raphs room and burst into the lab. When they opened Donnie's lab door the sight they saw broke them too.
Donnie was on the floor, one hand covering his face and one hand holding Mikey's limp cold hand.

"Donnie.. what the shell is happening?!" Raph yelled. His voice was filled with rage, guilt and most of all.. sadness.

"He- he's been unresponsive for atleast 4 minutes now.." Donnie said quietly.

Leo left Raphs side and came inside the room fully and walked towards his little brother. His dead brother. He couldn't quite recon what he was witnessing. Leo didn't cry, he didn't show emotion, his eyes were so dull and they looked dead. His eyes were tired and filled with sadness. Then he broke down too. Tears were streaming from his eyes, and he yelled out a bloody scream. He sounded like he was being murdered.

Leo turners his attention to Raph. He couldn't move. All he could do was cry and stare at his brothers unforgiving face.

"You.. You- YOU KILLED HIM!" Leo yelled. He got closer to Raphs face.

"YOU- I- LEAVE." Leo yelled.

"Leo cmon.." Raph squeaked.

"NOW!" Leo yelled even louder.

Raph left, in fact he packed his stuff up, and fully left. He couldn't stand being in the place he.. murdered Mikey. His 15 year old brother.
Donnie and Leo never saw him again after that.

Leo was shut off completely. Donnie couldn't fix him and neither could splinter. He stopped caring for the one brother he technically had left. He became like Raph. His anger always overshadowed him. And when he did see his brother it always ended in an argument.

Donnie. Poor donnie was just so different. After his little brother died Leo started to be like Raph, he even hit donnie sometimes. Splinter ignored him. And Raph abandoned him. He felt so alone, and he even fell into a deep depression. He took the death the worst.

When splinter arrived home from his trip to Japan, he was confused to see only two of his sons. Leo broke down what happened. And he didn't seem to care. Mikey and Raph did seem to be Splinters least favorite children.

As for April and Casey, well after what happened they stopped going to see the last two turtles. After they saw what Leo has become and seeing how distant Donnie was to himself.. they just abandoned them.
