This is so bad because we updated this BY MISTAKE. But since it's done - we're nit undoing it, shit :,) :,)

It's a very raw chapter you can even see the page count for our reference :,)

We'll probably edit it next week alongside Chapter 87 –y'all got REALLY lucky *cris*

For now enjoy :,)

I just followed Marcus Ellington Conway so damn silently, as he marched through the mazes of the Ellington estate towards his room.

Reaching there, he made sure to lock the door after us.

Shit.

Three thousand and forty-seven and five shits.

He laughed.

Aha, grapes.

He continued laughing.

Aha, even better. (1)

And he reached out for the whiskey flask next to his bed, taking one deep and thirsty chug.

I bit my lips, fixing him with a quizzical look.

"Argh! Do you know what I love in this estate?!" He whipped towards me in a dancing motion, "It's the thrill!" He growled, lustilly.

He reached out to me, gripping my face by the cheek.

"It's the adrenaline rush you get on every win like you're in a chess game!"

I shuddered, taking a step back.

(2)
"And here's one of my wins, Daisy Reinhart!"

My heart sank.

As he reached out and gripped my face once again.

"It's that I saw you in the yard on the night of the Christmas ball!"

And that was it.

I swayed a couple of steps back, eyes wide.

Grapes.

(3)
Once again, grapes.

Such a piece of information....

If I were to choose one person I would not have desired to have it...

It would definitely be the man infront of me at the moment.

He saw... Daisy... that night?

Flashbacks from Jason Glass' body on the floor with a knife in his chest crossed my consciousness and fresh memory, as I shuddered madly.
(4)

"Now, I don't know what you were doing that fucking night." He snarled, "You could've been fucking some rich lord in a corner for all I care."

Taking a step in my direction, he licked his lips.

"But if I get interested, I might investigate."

He let out one more painfully victorious and psychotic laugh.

"Are you able to give me something to keep my mind off it, Daisy?"

(5)
Bile rose to my throat, and I found myself clenching my teeth madly.

"What do you want?"

He took one further step in my direction, standing at a relatively close distance from me.

"I have an interest in infiltrating the Chairman's safe tomorrow and I need a test subject."

A second passed.
