Hope was a very curious two-year-old, she had already learned to read and was often in the Wayne Manor library. She was there today, and so was her father, Thomas had gotten used to finding his daughter reading. He stayed nearby to help her with new words.

"Daddy?" Hope asked looking over at Thomas, she found a word she didn't understand.

"What's the word sweetie?" He asked leaning over to look at the children's book she was reading.

"O-ct-o-p-us" she said trying to sound the word out.

"Octopus, you were close," Thomas said encouragingly.

She then pointed to a picture of an octopus "This is an octopus" she said with a smile.

"You're learning quickly sweetie," Thomas said with pride as he ran his hand through her hair.

Hope smiled softly as she continued to read her book. Alfred soon entered the library with food and drinks for Hope and Thomas. Thomas took the items and waited for Hope to notice the food was there.

"Oh, Alf's sandwiches!" Hope said excitedly noticing the food.

Thomas chuckled, Hope still had trouble saying Alfred's name so she called him Alf. It was one of the many cute things Thomas loved about his daughter. He handed her the sandwich and watched her eat it, he ran his hand through her soft hair as she did.

"Hope" Martha called walking into the library.

"Yes, mommy?" Hope said looking up.

"Im going to pick up Bruce from school, would you like to come with me?" Martha asked.

"Yes!" Hope said excitedly as she put her book away.

Thomas chuckled and smiled at Martha. They both knew how much Hope loved spending time with Bruce. Hope would always follow Bruce around everywhere, and Bruce didn't mind it.

Martha soon got Hope into her car seat, Hope could almost do it all herself now. Martha then started the car and began to drive to Bruce's school. It didn't take long to get there, and Bruce was already waiting outside for his mom.

"Bruce!" Hope yelled out the car window.

Bruce smiled and walked towards the car "Mom managed to get you away from the library" he said getting into the car.

Martha chuckled "It wasn't hard Bruce, Hope likes spending time with you."

Bruce just smiled "Hide and seek again Hope?" He asked his sister

"Yes! And this time I'll win!" She said excitedly.

Bruce laughed "We'll see"

Martha smiled as she drove her two kids back home. She had been worried that Bruce wouldn't accept his sister, but that worry had long since gone away. The siblings were nearly inseparable.
