When Enderbrina woke in an unfamiliar bed, she panicked silently before remembering that she had slept in Offender's bed, and would be until her heat ended. It hadn't begun yet, but she had thought that it would be a good precaution. She heard the shark-smiled monster purring from behind her. It stopped as he woke up, the enderwoman sitting up to wait for him to fully wake.

"Brina? What're you doing here?"

"Don't you remember last night? You said I could sleep here."

"Mm... oh, right. So, how are you feeling today?"

"Not in heat yet. I'm fine."

"Good... so, anything you wanna do today?"

She shrugs. "I don't have anything planned, usually..."

"Why don't we go talk to Slender, see if he has any targets for you?"

"I already finished what he assigned this week for me. What about you? Won't he have targets for you to take care of?"

"No, that's reserved for the rest of the mansion. Me and my brothers all have our own targets. Splendor is off the hook, though. He only kills when he absolutely has to."

She sighs. "Lucky. I don't wanna watch tv again... and Ben's games get old quickly when he cheats all the time."

"Life can get pretty boring here, which is why I opened the strip club."

She scoots over, sitting next to him. She leans on his side, hearing him purr at the contact.

"Damn... whoever your true love is... they're hella lucky."

"Zalgo visited me in my sleep last night..." She had to tell Smexy. There was no way he wasn't one of the two.

She felt him stiffen. "What? What did he say?"

"Well... he restored my lost power. The portal that brought me here sapped some of it, but I'm sure it was an accident... but he also told me about my fated mate."

"Did he tell you who it was?"

"No, just some hints. They live in the mansion. I'll have a vision of them when I meet them... and I'll have two mates."

His head whipped to look at her. "What? Two?"

"Mhm... and I can't help feeling like you're one of them. I haven't had a vision with you in it yet, but... I just feel... so comfortable around you. I trust you so much... I would be comfortable being naked in front of you because I know you wouldn't do anything if I didn't want you to."

"Except maybe admire you."

She smiles. "That, I'd be okay with."

"Okay, then yeah, I wouldn't do anything you're not comfortable with. And... well, I don't really know what love feels like, but I know I don't want to leave your side. I only do it because I know I'd get weird looks or threats from everyone if I didn't."

She smiles. "Until I have a vision that includes you... can we call this... I dunno... I don't like the term 'friends with benefits'."

"I don't either. Not for us... how about... fuck buddies?"

She burst out giggling at the ridiculous term. "No! Oh gods, no, that's even worse!"

He chuckled. "Right. Well, I guess we're still besties, then."

"Maybe, unless I can't I find the other part of this... destined triangle."

"And... if I'm not part of it?"
