Emma had the best sleep of her life that night. She woke up in the best mood ever. Even though Isaac interrupted them, it was still a successful date. She got up and headed to the kitchen to tell Vince the news.
"Good morning Emma, I made some french toast!" Vince stated
"Oo yummy!" Emma happily exclaimed.
"So," Vince started "How did your date go last night?"
Emma had the biggest smile ever. "WELL... It went very well. Except..." She paused.
"Except???" Vince asked.
"Isaac was there. And he caused a huge scene. The waiter pulled out a gun and everything." Emma explained
Vinces jaw dropped. "Are you serious?!" Vince sighed "What's wrong with him, genuinely..."
"BUT!" Emma continued. "Barry and I were able to laugh about it and... well we gave each other a little kiss.. (on da lips)" She smiled as she said this.
Vinces demeanor changed and he was happy for his friend.
"LETS FREAKING GO!!!" The two dabbed hands and nodded .
Vince stood up and made some coffee for the two of them.
As they sat and drank they talked of really random things until Vince got a message.
"Hmmm..." Vince pondered
"What is it?" Emma asked.
"Hm.. A friend of mine invited me to a drag show later tonight. Not sure if I wanna go though... Would you be down to go with me?" Vince asked.
"Uhhh DUH.." Emma stated.
"Cool!" He got up and cleaned up the dishes.
— Later that night.
Emma and Vince got ready in their flashiest outfits. Everything had glitter but it was still classy. Barbie classy.
They called a taxi to the Pink Parakeet Club.
When they arrived, the place was packed. Music was bumping and lights were shining. The main show hadn't started yet so they decided to sit down and order something.
The two decided to share tortilla chips and a large soda. This month was a little struggle with money but they were alright.
As they enjoyed the lively atmosphere, Emma whispered to Vince, "This place is amazing! I'm so glad we came."
Vince nodded.
The pair eventually notice a familiar face on the dance floor.... It's Isaac. Great. He's dancing his little heart out to "Murder On The Dance Floor" He really isn't dancing though... More like flailing his arms and legs around.. like a fish out of water.
Emma and Vince exchanged awkward glances, trying not to burst into laughter at Isaac's cringy dance moves.
Isaac notices Emma.... Except he doesn't come over. He gets a little closer to the table, just a little, he's still on the dance floor. Suddenly he starts making out with some random guy!!!! And the entire time he's looking emma dead in the eyes.
"What the fuck" Vince bluntly states.
"FAGGOT!!!" emma yells out and quickly turns away so nobody knew it was her.
Vince elbows Emma, "I bet he thinks you're jealous."
Emma rolls her eyes and the two laugh hysterically.
The waiter comes over with their tortilla chips and soda.
"Here y'all go!" He sets down their meal.
"So whats the story now, Cal?" Emma asked.
"Oh no this is just for fun, the last place surprisingly didn't fire me for pulling out a gun. They said they needed someone tough like me for situations like that."
Vince and Emma nodded very curiously.
He left and the two enjoyed their snack.
Emma got a notification from her phone from Barry!
"Hey Emma ;))"
"Hiii" She frantically replied
"Would you like to hang out tomorrow? :)"
"Of course!!" She felt her face burning up already, all over text messages!!!
"Cool <3"
*1 Picture from Barry*
"See u then..."
"Oh uh." Emma said out loud.
"Hm?" Asked Vince.
Emma shower him the phone and the two giggled over how serious that picture was.
They spent the night making fun of Isaacs desperate attempts to strike jealousy. They watched the awesome drag performances and Emma was content. She really needed one night of peace, relaxation, and fun.
