Maybe having my friends stay the night wasn't going to be such a bad idea. It would give Wolfrun and the others a chance to get to know each other.
"Is everything okay?" Wolfrun asks.
"Yeah, just nervous."
"Everything is going to be okay, I promise."
"Okay..."
After some shopping, we decide to go and visit the park. While we play some games we had suggested along the way, everything around us changes to a hideous shade of green, with white spider webs.
"Well, isn't this an ugly sight?"
"Majorina!"
"Sorry, did I ruin your fun? But we need Wolfrun back, now!"
"I'm never going back, ever!"
"Fine, have it your way."
"Precure! Smile Charge!"
"Twinkling and shining, the light of the future! Cure Happy!"
"The brilliant sun, hot-blooded power! Cure Sunny!"
"Sparkling, glittering, rock-paper-scissors! Cure Peace!"
"Intense courage, a straight-up bout! Cure March!"
"The snow, falling and gathering, a noble heart! Cure Beauty!"
"With overflowing feelings, they run free! Cure Emotion!"
"Our 6 lights will guide us to the future!"
"Sparkle! Smile Precure!"
As we were waiting for the Akanbe to attack, it didn't.
'Strange, why isn't it attacking?'
And that's when I realized the Akanbe was lining up an attack on Wolfrun.
"No!"
De-transforming and pushing Wolfrun out of the way, I got hit in his place. After getting hit, everything goes black.
"Cho!"
"Now you've done it." Sunny growls.
"Wolfrun, protect her at all costs."
"Way ahead of you."
As the girls fight to keep the Akanbe at a distance, I manage to find a safe place for the two of us. Moving the hair from Cho's face, I get a good look at her and I study her features.
'How come I didn't notice the mark she has behind her right ear? Was that mark always there? How come I didn't see it until now?'
Looking back at the team, they seem to be finishing the Akanbe off.
"Reach out! Light of hope!"
"Soar! To the future!"
"Precure! Rainbow Burst!"
