"What do you mean 'we need gas'? I got plenty from those chips you gave me.""I mean the car. The car's running low."
"Isn't that a good thing?"
"Not for a car."
"The land world is so weird."
"Tell me about it."
The two had been on the road for a few hours, and were just now stopping to get gas, Emily was actually quite thankful for all the money she had saved up, the two would be good for a while.
"Alright the car's filled up, you want any snacks before we go?" Emily asked.
"No, but I do have one minor problem." Edmar replied, looking nervous.
"What's that?"
"Is there a restroom anywhere?"

Emily walked inside the gas station, holding Edmar like a normal pool float.
"Keep still." She whispered as she walked towards the bathrooms, earning some weird looks from other customers.
Eventually she arrived and threw Edmar into the men's room, luckily it was a one person bathroom so no one else would see him...hopefully.
"Wait!" He said before she could close the door.
"What?"
"Can you get me some more of those orange chips?"
"The Dorito's?"
"Yeah!"
She sighed. "Fine! But keep that door locked!"
"Yes ma'am!"
She walked back into the store then grabbed a bag of Dorito's and two cokes, then went back to wait by the door for him.
"You done yet?" She asked as another man got in line.
"Not yet!"
The man looked at her questioningly.
"I'm waiting for a friend." She said and he nodded in understanding.
"Emily!" Edmar called.
"Yes?" She asked.
"I can't reach the door."
"Oh crap." She glanced at the man to see he was on his phone, she might have a chance.
She quickly opened the door and grabbed him.
"What the heck?" The man exclaimed, apparently he wasn't as distracted as she thought.
"You didn't see anything." Edmar said, waving his fins like a magician.
The man screamed, causing all the attention to be on her.
Emily quickly ran outside, causing an alarm to beep and with horror realized she forgot to pay. She quickly drove off before anyone could catch her plate number.
After several moments of silence Edmar burst out laughing. "That was amazing!"
"I'm a criminal." Emily muttered.
"Can you open the wine bottle for me?" He asked, gesturing to the coke.
"Yes, and it's coke, not wine." She replied, opening it and handing it to him.
Just then her phone went off, her mom was calling her.
"Edmar."
"Yes?"
She handed him her phone. "I need you to hit the red button and throw it out the window."
"Why?"
"Just do it!"
"What happens if I push the green button?"
"Don't-"
Too late, he pushed it.
"Hello?! Emily?? Where the heck are you!?" Her mom asked angrily.
"Are you Emily's mom?" He asked, looking at the device with wonder.
"Yes! Where's my daughter!?"
"Oh she's-"
In a flash, Emily grabbed the phone and chucked it out the window.
"What was that for??" Edmar exclaimed.
"I told you to hit the red button!"
"I was curious!" He retorted, taking a sip of his coke, then his eyes widened. "This is really good."
"I know." She replied, taking a sip of her own. "Just don't drink it too fast or you'll have to..."She trailed off as he proceeded to drink the whole thing in a matter of seconds. "...pee."
He sighed contentedly, until he suddenly looked very uncomfortable.
"Um...Emily?"
"Yes?" She asked through gritted teeth.
"I feel like I'm gonna..."
"Please don't."
He replied with the longest and loudest belch she's ever heard.
"Oh! I feel much better." He said happily, munching on his Doritos
Emily burst out laughing.
"What?"
"That was the greatest burp in existence!" She exclaimed.
He smiled with pride. "Why thank you, my lady. If you give me yours I can do more."
"Not happening."
"Ok."
They rode in silence for a while longer before he spoke again.
"Are we there yet?"
