After they arrived to Cairo safe from Imhotep for now as Laila got her home with Rick not too far behind her slamming their door shut. "Ok how long you been married?" said Rick looking at her. "For three years after our trip to Hamunaptra but we got more important matters. Stopping Imhotep." said Laila going to her small office. "Uh no. We are leaving." said Rick grabbing her stuff from her room. "No. There's no escaping this. Its your fault for not listening to Ardeth." said Laila looking through the scrolls and books. "Its not my fault for telling us about your marriage an who he is." said Rick seeing her going crazy in the office. "What you're reading now? God your like Evelyn." said Rick looking at her annoyed. "I'm looking for answers of Masika. That's what he called me when me and Evie saw the mummy." said Laila. "Who cares?" said Rick. "He told me that i was his sister an was asking where his niece an nephew were? If you just going to bitch at me for not telling you everything then get out." said Laila looking at him. "Fine. Go ahead but this isn't over." said Rick storming out of her apartment. Laila looked through her books for sometime. until she sat in her chair tired but still fought the urge to rest from everything that happened with Imhotep. She breathed through her nose before going to Evie's an help her find what she is looking for before going to Mr. Bay knowing he was waiting for Ardeth to arrive outside the city. Knock. Knock. Knock. "Go away Ri- Laila? What are you doing here?" said Evie after opening her door to her apartment. "Fining a way to stop Imhotep but first i need to know more about Masika." said Lalia walking in. "Well i don't anything on her. I assume Rick was going off on you too." said Evie closing the door. "Mainly about my marriage but we nee to focus on finding a way to stop the end of the world situation." said Laila turning to face her. "I'm sorry about the book. I thought it was nothing." said Evie. "Well it wasn't. He needs to be stopped." said Laila feeling something wasn't right.

"We will find a way to kill him. Let step out for some fresh air an keep our mins off until we figure something out." said Evie grabbing her coat. "Actually i'll just go to the museum to find what i can gather about Masika." said Laila. "Are you sure?" said Evie. "Yeah. Mr. Bay will be there anyways." said Laila looking at her. "Alright." said Evie watching her leave and rushed to the Museum. Laila managed to get to the museum going in through the back and began heading to the Mr. Bay's office until a sword and gun was pointe at her when she turned the hall. "Laila? What are you doing here?" said Mr. Bay looking at her. "My love, What wrong?" said Ardeth after putting his sword away. "I need to look for more answers about Masika." said Laila looking between the two men. "Theres nothing except being a servant to the first female Pharaoh Ahmunet until she disappeared with her unborn." said Mr. Bay. "It matters to me. HE called me by that name and . . . " She pause feeling tensed making Ardeth concerned. "What?" said Ardeth. "He told me that he's my brother and looked very surprise to see me." said Laila seeing the two men look at each other in shock. "You are certain?" said Ardeth. "Why else I've been having those dreams? Who knows what he'll do to me?" said Laila running her hand through her hair. Ardeth held her close kissing the top of her head rubbing her back and looked Mr. Bay before they went to find answers until they heard the sound of footsteps. "You?!" said Evie as the men pointe their guns at Ardeth. Laila stood in front of him but Ardeth held her back until they lowered their guns slowly seeing how pissed Laila was. "What is he doing here?" said Evie. "He's my husband and knows what we are dealing with besides me." said Laila. "Do you want to listen or prefer to shoot us?" said Mr. Bay. "After what i saw I'm willing to go on a little faith here." said Rick putting his gun away. Laila started feeling dizzy touching her head before her body dropped to the ground if Ardeth didn't catch her in time. "Laila?" said Ardeth looking at her. He saw her eyes were rolled to the back of her head with her eyelashes picking her up to move her to the steps.

She quickly turned around throwing her right sword at the man hitting the column that he peered out from aiming an inch close to his head. "Who are you?" said the woman looking at him. "My Pharaoh Ahmunet. This man is Imhotep. Seti's High Priest." said Masika after she got up. "I'm also her only brother. May I take her off your hands?" said Imhotep. "Where's Seti?" said Ahmunet looking at him. "He's in the guest chambers with his new concubine." said Imhotep. "Alright you can spend time with Masika. I must speak with Seti anyways." said Ahmunet tossing her swords to Masika who easily caught them. She walked away passing Imhotep looking at him up and own suspiciously before she fully left them alone. "What are doing here?" said Masika walking the opposite way where Ahmunet left. "Masika. Please dont avoid this. Ive waited for so long to see my little sister again." said Imhotep walking with her. "But we have different lives with different positions. Youre the High Priest speaker of the gods and im a servant that was sold to." said Masika entering the weapons room. "You are much more than that from the way ive you two practice. No servants have trained into fights unless they're bodyguards." said Imhoteps watching her put the swords away. "Shush. No one outside the palace is suppose to know. We both know we cant stay together." said Masika passing him to her own room to change with Imhotep waiting out in the hall. "Im willing to pull some strings. Princess Nerfertiti. Ariaz. What brings you both here?" said Imhotep seeing a man an a woman approaching him. "Anck su namun would like to speak with you." said Nerfertiti. Masika soon enough stepped out in her seeing Nerfertiti and bowed not seeing Ariaz not taking his eyes off of her. "Theres no need to bow." said Nerfertiti. "But i must my princess. Im Masika." said Masika standing up. "My sister." said Imhotep as Masika gave him a side glance. "Really? Well how about how you show us around the beautiful garden that Pharaoh Ahmunet has. The other servant wasnt feeeling well to show us." said Nerfertiti. "Of course." said Masika. "Alright i must go. I'll speak with you afterwards." said Imhotep pecking her cheek before he left.
