Laila woke up sitting up slowly while hearing Rick an Evie arguing in the other room loudly making her get up walking over to see everyone but Ardeth and Mr. Bay. "What are you guys yelling about?" said Laila getting the yelling to stop. "Hey sleeping beauty. What is happening is that you and Evie are staying here while we go talk with Beni." said Rick. "He also knocked out your husband before taking you with us." said Evie. "RICHARD O'CONNELL!" said Laila. "Shut up. Come on we got to get going." said Rick as Evie protested. He rolled his eyes throwing Evie over his shoulder shoving Laila back in the bedroom before tossing Evie on the be an locked the door behind him. "Were not safe like this?" sai Laila while Evie stopped yelling an banging the door. Evie calmed own looking at her seeing her sit on the chair looking own at her lap walking over. "What happened back there?" said Evie. "I had a vision of myself as Masika. Turns out that Imhotep does have a sister which i believe i am a reincarnation of theres no denying it." said Laila. "Oh my god." said Evie. "Tell me more about them since we are practically stuck here." she says. Laila started to explain everything she remembers from when they arrived at Hamunaptra without leaving any details while Evie started getting ready for bed. She finished up feeling tired and got up to run cold water on her face to keep herself up. While out in the city Beni was in the curators office rampage through his office to find something as Rick and Jonathan walked in to the mess. "What do you know? Spring Cleaning." Said Rick making Beni. He grabbed a nearby chair and threw it at Beni just as he was running to the window. The chair hit his back making him fall on his stomach groaning as Rick picked him up from his shirt slamming him against dome filing cabinets.

"You came back with a new friend didnt you Beni?" Siad Rick. "Friend? What friend?" Said Beni as Rick slammed him against another file cabinet. "What are you doing with this creep? What does he want?" Said Rick as Beni said something. "What did yo say?" Said Rick. "I dont want to tell. You'll just hit me some more." Said Beni as Tick picked him up. "You better tell me right now." Said Rick lifting him up to the spinning ceiling fan. "The Book! The Book of the Dead. He wants it back." Said Beni. "What does he need the book for?" Said Jonathan. "Come on i dont know." Said Beni looking at him once Rick lowered him. He then got lifted up again higher this time staring the moving blades in fear. "Some thing about bringing his girlfriend and taking back his sister. Just the book i swear. Just the book i swear. And the girls but other than that!" Said Beni as Rick pulled him to his face with a jerk. Suddenly they all heard a man scream outside giving Beni a chance hit Rick and jump out the window. The scream happened again as Rick and Jonathan saw Imhotep pick up the book from the mummified curator once everyone backed away from the scene. Imhotep turned his looking at Rick and Jonathan with his features showing almost completely before opening his jaw inhumanly to release a swarm of locust at them. Rick and Jonathan slammed the shutters looking at each other. "One more to go." Said Rick. "Than he'll go after Laila and Evie." Said Jonathan as they ran off back to the apartment. Back at the apartment Laila began nodding off before her head dropped down letting her hair fall over her face. Henderson was getting bored of sitting around and got up to open the door out of the apartment looking for Daniels before shutting the door seeing no one and heard a noise pulling out his gun pointing to the window. He slowly started approach it before it burst open by a unexpected sand storm and was lifted up in the air getting sucked dried until he stopped moving and thrown aside. The sandstorm shifted to its original which turned out to be Imhotep almost fully regenerated and looked at the locked doors as a scarab crawled out of his neck to his mouth eating into on his way to the room.

Imhotep turned into sand to enter through the keyhole while the girls were still asleep and turned back. He looked to see Evie on the bed and Laila sitting on the chair in the corner walking over to her. Laila breathe in and out slowly through her nose feeling some brush her hair away from her face. She shifted a bit before feeling something slowly picking her up and heard Evie scream waking her up. Laila looked to see Imhotep with his face half decaying making her backing away from him was grabbed by the arms. "Do not be frightened. Im here to take you back with me." Said Imhotep as Laila kicked in the chest making him let go of her. He got up running back to grabbed her from behind until Rick kicked opening with Jonathan and Daniels. "Get your ugly ass off my sister." Said Rick. "My Sister!" Said Imhotep growling. "Look what i got." Said Rick holding Evie's cat making him scream and letting Laila go. Laila moved behind the bed with Evie as Imhotep turned into a sandstorm and left. She waited until he was and slowly stood up with Evie looking at the men. "You alright?" Said Rick. "Im fine thanks." Said Jonathan before Laila threw a pillow at his face. "Laila? Evie?" Said Rick. "We're fine." Said Evie standing up. She grabbed her covering while Laila stormed out with everyone behind her on their way tot he museum. "Ardeth?!" Said Laila once they got inside. "Laila!" Said Ardeth appearing from the second floor looking down the group. He rushed down the steps towards them and punched Rick across the jaw as Laila pulled him away. "That was for putting my wife in danger." Said Ardeth glaring at Rick who quickly recovered. "I deserved that one. Look shes fine." Said Rick rubbing his jaw. "He's almost fully regenerated and tried to take me with him. Did you find anything to stop him?" Said Laila getting Ardeth to look at her. "No but for now youre not leaving my sight." Said Ardeth looking at her then at the group. "Not if Imhotep has a say in it." Said Laila. "I think i have a solution. Wasnt there two Books. The Book of the Dead." Said Evie. "And the Book of the Living but that has never been found." Said Laila looking at her. Evie walked upstairs to the display with hieroglyphics reading it carefully as Ardeth kept Laila close to him while they looked out for any signs of Imhotep coming.
