Shared Responsibilities - LW

Part 8

Ash's POV:

It's now been a couple of weeks since I did my injury and Leah she's been amazing, she's been helping me out picking me up to take me to appointments and to gym sessions, obviously only working on legs and cardio, and we've even had a couple of coffee dates, well not actually dates but I wish they were.

Anyway I'm just sat at home doing some finances on the car garages I own and Leah is coming round early as some of the girls are coming to mine for the first time for a bit of a movie night.

"Speak of the devil, or should I say think?" I muttered to myself as the door bell rang. I put my glasses down as I got up from my desk in my office as I made my way to the front door.

"Hey love, come in!" I smiled glad to be seeing her since it's been a couple of days.

"Hey Ash Smash, how are you?" She smiled back at me with that beautiful smile of hers and she came in for a hug after I closed the door.

"Hmm this is nice, yeah I'm doing ok, just can't wait to get my sling off tomorrow". I have admitted to myself over the past week that what I thought was a small crush that would go over time has turned into me never wanting to leave Leah's side, I find myself constantly thinking about her and wondering what she's up to.

"How you doing? Would you like a drink?" I enquired as we broke from the hug and I grabbed her hand leading her into my kitchen.

"Yeah I'm doing good, I've missed you though. And I'll take a glass of water if that's ok?" She blushed at me as I pulled her along.

"I've missed you to Le. And ye of course, treat this as your house love". I smiled as I went over to the cupboards to grab her a glass, wanting to make her feel comfortable.

"Thanks Ash. Anyway your house is beautiful". She admired looking around my house.

"I'll give you a tour in a minute if you'd like? I just need to go to my office and finish my work". I asked as I handed her over a glass of water.

"Yeah! I'd love that, thanks. Can I come see your office?" Leah questioned with a cute tilt of her head and a small grin.

"Yeah of course you can, come on love!" I grinned back at her grabbing her hand again to lead her to my office.

I sat her down next to me as I put on my glasses to finish the finances on the garage based in St Albans, as I'd finished all the others and this was my last one.

"I didn't know you wore glasses?" Leah asked after a couple of minutes.

"Yeah only when I'm reading or on my laptop. My eye sights not bad, just struggle sometimes when reading". I answered with a shrug as I turned to look at her.

"You look cute with them on". She blushed at me.

"Haha thanks love, you're pretty cute yourself. I won't be long just finishing this." I winked at her as I went to do the final pay check, after making sure all orders were completed and stock up to date.

"T-thanks". She stuttered out before continuing "what is it that you're doing?"

"I'm just doing some finances and orders for my business, you know the garage I took you to?" I asked as she nodded before I continued "well, I own it as well as 7 others around the country". I answered her, knowing I could trust her, as an ex of mine in the past abused that knowledge and nearly rinsed me for all the money I had and told everyone she knew that they could get services at my garages for free. Put it this way glad Grace helped me out with seeing how she manipulated me.

"Wow! That's good, I didn't realise you ran a business. How do you have the time for it all?" She asked with raised eyebrows obviously shocked at the information.

"I fit it in here and there but I have managers at all the garages it's just finances, stock for the garages and some other administrative things. I try to visit them all at least a couple of times a year to check in on all the staff and things". Smiling as I liked her taking an interest in my life. "I also make sure that women feel that they've not been overcharged and know that they'll be helped. And I make sure all staff explain any problems as best as they can to customers so they don't feel conned or anything". I continued my explanation to her.

"Wow that's really good! You're a good person!" She said making me blush slightly at her praise. "I told my mum about what happened with my car and what you did, she asked which garage and I told her which one and she said she uses it and always feels well looked after and really appreciates that she isn't being ripped off, especially as a woman". She finished off as she put her hand on top of my thigh.

"Well I'm glad she feels that way. It's all I want for my customers". I smiled back at her "what else you said to your mum about me?" I asked with my signature smirk and wink.

"I-I err, n-nothing?" She stuttered out, her cheeks going bright red.
"Is that right?" I countered turning my chair to face her
"E-err y-yes n-nothing I-important" she again stuttered feeling caught
"See I want to believe you, but I'm not sure I can". I teased her further as I leaned close maintaining eye contact.
"W-why?" Leah murmured feeling increasingly hot.
"Simply because you're stuttering and blushing, acting as if you've been caught red handed. You been telling her how much you love me?" I pushed further as I raised an eyebrow, still smirking but also worried about her answer.
"L-look she might know how close we've gotten and how nice and everything you are!" She blurted out after becoming increasingly flustered at my constant teasing.

"Don't worry Leah, I'll keep you secret safe". I teased one more time.
"W-what secret?" She worriedly asked, hmm wonder what secrets she's worried about.
"Oh just how much you love me and can't stay away from me". I winked at her. Before I started chuckling not able to hold my composure anymore.
"Y-you're m-mean!" She huffed obviously realising I was joking with her but not really joking deep down.

"Sorry Le, come on let's go on this tour, in all finished here". I said after putting all my stuff away and grabbing her hand again.

After showing her round my house we finished in my bedroom, and no not for that reason! So I could grab a hoody as I was only in shorts and a training tank top.

"I love your house! It's very you but also really homely and warm". Leah smiled at me as I allowed her to take a seat on my bed as I went to my wardrobe to find a hoody.

"Thanks Le, means a lot, I've worked hard to create this home for myself. Would you like a hoody?" I glanced over my shoulder at her already noticing her eyes on me, was she just checking me out?
"Yeah, please if you don't mind? I forgot to bring one". She said bringing her eyes up to meet mine blushing at being caught.
"Of course you can, like I said downstairs, treat my house like yours. You can take what you want love". I offered her before slipping n a hoody myself.
