She's so perfect. Rocky stared at Tooth from across the classroom. This is what he always did. Watch her. It was now the last period of the day, and he was watching her in her seat, spun around to draw on the whiteboard behind her. He cringed as he heard a kid behind him criticize her.

"She's so weird," He heard a guy named Austin say. "Why does she do this every day?"

Rocky hated hearing people talk bad about Tooth. Of course, being queer and neurodivergent in a school in texas, this happened often.

"And why does she dress like that?" Someone named Kit whispered. "It's so cringe. I could never."

Rocky was getting sick of the two people talking. What was Tooth even doing wrong? She was just drawing. She never bothered anyone else. They hated her for no reason. It infuriated him.

Things only got worse.

"Yeah. Plus isn't she a transgender?" Austin said. Not only was it improper grammar, but it was absolutely about to be hardcore transphobia.

"Yeah. I bet she's one of those they/them people. She probably thinks she's a man." Kit responded.

"You should fight her if she wants to be a man." Austin suggested. "I mean, doesn't that transgender bullshit make you wanna hurt someone? Or is it just me?"

Unacceptable. Not only was Tooth genderqueer and comfortable with all pronouns so they weren't even right about that, but they wanted to hurt her just because of that. Rocky felt absolute rage, but he remained still. He waited. He was thinking.

I know where they live, Rocky thought to himself. I can punish them later. For now, I won't let anyone distract me from admiring her. He looked back at Tooth, who was now typing something on her phone. A moment later, she raised her hand and asked to go to the bathroom. Once she was gone, he saw her diary sitting on her desk.

Should I..? He wondered. Everyone was distracted. No one would notice if he just took a glance. Even the teacher was busy trying to calm down some kid in the back of the room.

Cautiously, he got up, his long, curly red hair falling down beside his face. He sat down in Tooth's seat and looked at her diary. It was well decorated. Rocky was impressed. He opened it and admired the decorations on the inside. He took out his phone and took pictures. It was beautifully done. He didn't take pictures of every page- Tooth would be back any minute now. Once he was satisfied, he closed the diary and put it back before returning to his seat. No one had even noticed him. And now he had pictures from Tooth's very own diary.

He decided to savor his time with her for now and examine the pictures later. Most of his photo gallery was full of candid pictures taken of her and pictures of her belongings. He was absolutely infatuated with her.

When she was back from the bathroom, he smiled to himself as she sat back down, none the wiser of his invasion of her privacy. The thought of it gave him butterflies in his stomach. He wanted to see all of the private little parts of her life. He wanted to know everything there was to know about her.
