Ship- Ellie x Gabby

Ellie pov

"Gabby guess what!" I exclaimed as I burst through the door. "What is it?" Gabby asked curiously. "My design got into the fashion show!" I said, "Oh my god, Ellie, I'm so proud of you!" Gabby said excitedly while pulling me into a tight hug. "Are you free next week?" Gabby asked. "Yeah, I think so" I replied, kind of confused. "Good, I have a surprise."

One week later

"Gabby, can I open my eyes now?" I asked as I was starting to get a little impatient. "Absolutely not! That would take away the suspense!" Gabby replied. Even though my eyes were closed, I could tell Gabby was really excited about this. Gabby led me through this random forest she took me to for a few more minutes until she finally stopped. "OK, you can open your eyes now" I opened my eyes and saw a picnic set up under a huge willow tree. "Oh my god, Gabby, this is so beautiful!" I said as I admired the giant tree. "This is my favorite tree, and I would always come here when something big happened in my life. I think your design being in a fashion show is a big thing." Gabby explained to me. "Plus, I wanted to take you somewhere pretty to match how beautiful you are" I immediately blushed a bright pink as Gabby snickered. "You can't just ambush me with lines like that!" I exclaimed while still pink. "But you're so cute when you're flustered," Gabby replied. "Ok, I'm just going to drop this." I said while smiling from all of Gabby's comments. Gabby pulled me towards the picnic excitedly. We sat down and started eating. The fact that Gabby did this for me made me feel really special and it's part of the reason I love her.

Gabby pov

Me and Ellie have been in the forest for about an hour and the sun was starting to set. "Ellie we should have our dramatic movie moment where we dance together as the sun sets!" I said excitedly. Ellie looked hesitant as she said, "I don't know, I don't really know how to dance". "Don't worry, I can teach you." I replied as I stood up and offered my hand to Ellie. She eventually took my hand, and I was able to pull her up towards me. "Don't think about it too much. Just go back, to the side, and forwards. Like you're making a box." As I explained how to dance to Ellie, she seemed to pick it up pretty quickly. As we danced together, I couldn't help but think how much I cared about Ellie. She's one of the only people that takes me seriously and I love her for that. "Ellie, I love you" I said as I kissed her. She kissed back then replied, "I love you too" We both smiled and continued to dance as the sun finished setting.
