Amy was in a rush of course, she loved getting to work early and today she was behind on her schedule which had her stressed and fumbling.

She had been waiting in line for her coffee for far too long now, starting to fidget with her hands, she finally got to the front of the line and ordered her drink just before she started getting even more stressed out.

Her order was called out after what felt like an eternity and she went to pick it up, while she picked it up she spilled it all over herself in the process.

"No, no, no!! I'm gonna be SO late for work!!" Amy shouted while storming out, leaving her almost empty coffee cup on the counter while the employees and customers all stared at the disgruntled woman.

Amy rushed home to get changed, meanwhile everyone at the precinct wondered what was going on to have Amy running late, she was always early, sometimes even showing up before Captain Holt did.

"Do you guys think she like, died or something?"

"Rosa! Don't say things like that about your co-workers! That's awful!" Terry shouted at the detective who seemed completely un phased, giving him a look that said she would continue to make the same snarky comments.

"I'm sure she'll be back soon, maybe she slept in or something? We've all done it... I mean come on, she isn't perfect." Gina said, not looking up from her phone while she listened in and chimed in to the chatter going on in the bullpen.

"Gina, come on! Do you really think she would sleep in? I don't think you understand how on schedule she is. We can only assume something crazy happened like-"

As Jake was speaking he was cut off by Amy shouting coming out of the elevator and into the bullpen.

"I'M HERE!! I'M HERE!! I AM SO SORRY!" she shouted, her hair a mess from how stressed she was from the whole situation.

"5 minutes late? Detective Santiago, what has gotten into you?" Captain Holt asked, almost concerned by her lateness since it was so unlike her.

"I had a rough morning getting coffee... it won't happen again!" Amy slightly shouted while trying to quiet her tone at the same time.

"Really?! That's it??" Gina scoffed "You're acting like you just had your whole world turned upside down or something, relax."

"I did!!" Amy said, clearly flustered from the whole situation and the attention that was all on her, and not the good kind of attention either.

There was a collective sigh throughout the bullpen when it was realized that nothing exciting had really happened at all.
