"Jimin, I have something to tell you." I took a deep breath in and uttered. You gently squeezed my hands, indicating to me to continue. "Jimin-ah..." I began. "Let's b-break up." I stammered as I let those words out, expecting you to leave my hands or get shocked, but you remained calm with the same serene smile on your face. "And why if I may ask?"

"Jimin-ah..." I started to cry, unable to keep this pain within me. You got up and pulled me into your embrace before taking a seat beside me on the bed. "I'm going to d-die Jimin-ah... Please l-leave me... Leave me before you're h-hurt..." I cried hysterically, probably for the first time after I got to know about the disease that was spreading inside me and slowly engulfing me. But you just whispered sweet words into my ears and comforted me.

We stayed in the same position, and I was trying to savor every moment of us. Who knew if this would be our last time in each other's arms?

I thought it was our last.

But you proved me wrong.

"Y/n, I too have a secret to share with you. Your mother had told me everything the day I got back from the trip, the day I was a bit late in coming to wake you up. I have known about your disease all this time."
