Margo met Markus at The Daily the same day he applied for the job as a photojournalist.

And they hit it off just like that. Maybe it was their same obsession with pasta or vanilla ice cream dipped in chocolate and rice crispies. But later they knew that there was something more between them that really made them close.

Markus is an artist. He could see through the heart of every photo he took. He was more on the lifestyle and celebrity pages of the tabloid and the occasional magazine The Daily prints every 5 years. Maybe the only difference he has with Margo is that he is inlove with the spotlight. Margo had never wanted to be the center of attention. With such, the role of associate editor works perfectly for her because all she had to do was write, edit, copyread and file every article in the shadows. Markus' job was more on working with colleages and interacting with them.

Margo had given him that nickname, Marko.

"Because it is super close to 'Margo'". she had said to him on their first date.

"I do not understand what you are talking about. He is a good friend of mine. Well, we don't really talk a lot but, he is decent enough."

Marko suck in a deep breath.
"You call that pervert decent?" He whispered cautiously as not to be overheard by the man behind the door. But to be safe, he grabbed her wrist and led her to the window far from Mr. Addison's door. "You don't know how that freak looks at you whenever you walk out of his office. Didn't you notice how many times he'd call you in a day just to refill his cup of coffee?"

Margo looked at him like he slapped her in the face, "five times" she said, barely audible.

"Five effin' times, Margo," he hissed, "nobody in the right mind would drink five cups of coffee and still snore like a giant at 3pm."

"Margo? Are you there? Can you get me the usual?" Margo looked at Marko then at the door then back at Marko.

"I'm waiting Miss Schult."

"Be right there, Sir Addison." she called out while still staring at Marko's blue eyes.

One, Marko mouthed then walked passed her, returning to his desk at the right side of the room.
