Only thirty minutes left before the show starts. I was in the backstage, under the stage, for the first time! Jack had never allowed me to get in here since it was always super chaotic and dangerous with the pyrotechnics. Besides, the less people there are here, the less people that can do something wrong.
However, Jack was not here to tell me what to do. Since I am, trying to, taking over some of his responsibilities I assume that means I also get some of his privileges such as being here. I was observing everything. How the band was getting ready. How the crew was making sure everything was working. A bit further to my right I could already see Till's suit for during Rammlied for the pyrotechnics.
Till was putting on his coat, together with the last details of his costume. his hair was placed into model with gel and around his eyes was a dark makeup. He looked amazing. The others were preparing their instruments. Paul was tuning his guitar, together with Richard while Ollie and Flake were having a conversation. Christoph was already 'drumming' on his lap, getting in the mood.
Till was looking at me. He gave me a comforting smile. I walked up to him.
"How are you feeling", I asked him genuinely. He looked down at me.
"Not gonna lie, I am stressing out a bit", he admitted.
"Really? You wouldn't say that. You look absolutely stunning", I adjusted his belt a bit, making it sit more perfect. He groaned at my touch.
"Do you want me to go on stage with a boner", he asked me softly before anyone could hear him.
"I'd love to see that." We both started laughing. It was time for Till to get in the elevator that would get him on stage. The others took their positions as well.
"Come with me", Richard pulled me along with him. He took me to the entrance he always uses at the side.
"You can watch us from here", he winked at me.
"Thank you", I appreciated his offer. He smoked the last bits of his cigarette and got ready. Before he went on stage he looked behind him at me. I gave him a thumbs up.The band started performing. The crowd went wild. With each member that got on stage they became louder and louder. Eventually everyone got on stage and the show began. I sat down on a metal construction and watched everyone work closely. The technicians were taking care of the pyrotechnics, making sure everything was in place and operating. There was someone in contact with Sky in the Front of House.
Suddenly I felt little droplets falling on me. It was water. I tried to figure out where it came from. I looked outside and saw it had started to rain. However, that didn't stop the band from performing. They were getting soaking wet, the audience was getting drenched, Even under the stage it was getting harder to stay dry, but they continued. Untill...
"Diana, we should stop the show for a second. The weather is getting out of hand. This is unsafe", a crewmember came up to me.
"What do the technicians say", I asked him. Together we went to the other team. They too believed it was best for us to put the show on hold.
"Let them finish this song. After this one they all return down here to get ready for Mein Teil. We can hold them here for a second", I suggested. They agreed. I took my walkie talkie and contacted Sky."We're gonna have to stop the show for a second", I informed him.
"I was wondering when y'all were gonna make the call", he chuckled.
"Can you announce it to the audience through the speakers?"
"No problemo!""Fetch blankets", I ordered some crewmembers to warm up the band.
The boys started coming in, one by one. They were drenched. They handed their instruments to the technicians and shaked off the water. They all came to the centre, to me.
"Guys, we have to stop the show until this storm blows over", I told them.
"Thank god, I thought you were gonna send us back on stage", Paul was relieved.
"I ain't crazy", I chuckled. The crewmembers arrived with blankets and towels. They wrapped themselves up in it. I sat down next to Till, wrapping him in a blanket as well."This must suck for you", he said softly, "Your first show being in charge and already having it to be stopped."
"It's alright Till. It's very educating. It's all part of the job. Not every night can be perfect right?" He agreed.I took out my phone and checked the weather predictions for the next hours. In about twenty minutes the rain should get less heavy. So we waited, and waited. We tried to make the best out of it. The boys were warming themselves up at their coffees. I was staying in contact with Sky at the Front of House. He told me he'd give me a green light when to continue the show.
*Till's POV*
I was watching Diana closely, not really paying attention to the conversation the others were having. They were mostly talking about nonsense anyway, trying to let time pass.
She was checking her phone, talking to Sky and updating the rest of the crew as much as she could. She was doing her absolute best. We have to keep in mind that she's just an intern, she shouldn't be doing this, yet she does. That what makes her so special. She is absolutely amazing.
She is young, I have to admit. Much younger than me, that's a certainty. The way she bosses everyone around, the way she bosses us and especially me around is so alluring. She is so grown up and responsible. Yet, when we're alone she's little and fragile. She gives herself to me so willingly... However, earlier, when we were having sex in my dressing room she tried to prove herself. She tried not to give in so easily. That was so fucking hot. But her plan of not giving in to me failed, repeatedly.
*Diana's POV*
"What are you thinking about Lindemann", I went back sitting next to him. He locked his eyes with mine. He leaned closer.
"About you", he whispered temptedly, "About you being a good girl for me." My cheeks flushed red. He did not-"Hey look guys! The rain has stopped", Paul got excited. He snapped Till and myself out of looking into each other's eyes. For a second I forgot there were other people around us. That there was a show going on. We looked outside and he was right.
"Sky", I called through the walkies.
"Go! Go! Go", he was getting excited as well. The boys took their instruments. Till put on his suit again and so their show was finally able to continue. The fans were happy. The crew was relieved. Everyone was glad the miserable weather had blown over.
Naturally the rest of the show was absolute perfection. I was enjoying every second of it. The crew was grateful it turned out to be a happily ever after all ending.
