Before Elishia and Nora came
In the highest chamber of the western tower, a stunning woman positioned herself by the window. Cascading waves of long, blonde hair framed her beautiful face. She wore an exquisite low neck-line dark green dress with lace and jewel sewn within, luxurious matching her lavish surroundings.. Though her facial features remained striking, a subtle maturity lingered in her cheeks and eyes. However, despite youthful beauty, she's actually a 57-year old granny!
And this-said 57 year old mature beauty looking out the window. Her glorious, sun-kissed amber eyes stared down upon the upcoming carriage. The carriage soon came to a halt, 2 figures exited the carriage. Another figure soon came up to them. With a cluster of 3 figure. she watched intently. Under normal circumstances, the distant figures would blur into obscurity, especially for an ordinary woman. However, the Countess is no ordinary lady. No-
Having graduated from Saint.Gardenia, renowned as one of the most esteemed and exclusive schools on the entire continent. Not to mention, she previously held the top position in her class.. And her years as that bastards-I mean the Count wife has its perks.. With the abundance of monsters and her being wedded to a War Count, she is far from a feeble lady. She has undergone rigorous physical training and faced her fair share of battles.
She could see- she could perfectly see the very small figure of her daughter and her maid exiting the carriage, and Bennett walking towards the pair. She was they stood them and as left into the castle she regretfully has come to call home home.
She stood by the window, lost in thought, gazing outside. Time slipped away – seconds, minutes, perhaps even hours – as she remained fixated on the view. It wasn't until the door creaked open that she finally shook off her reverie. A maid entered the opulent room, bowing respectfully to her mistress.
"Madam, the young miss has arrived," she announced crisply, yet there was no visible reaction from the Countess. A simple "Mmh" was her subdued reply.
After a few minutes though, she finally said something. "I'll be heading there in a little bit." She quietly sat down and propped her head to the window.

Present time
In the expansive and opulent dining room, a little girl occupied her seat. Her black-blue hair is styled with two buns on the side of her head, giving her a cute, innocent look. Her ridiculously pale skin a bit flushed with youthfulness. Clad in a fancy pink dress, she resembled a princess The only thing that looked out of place were her eyes. Her dead eyes, eyes that seemingly held no emotion.
Though seated properly in a high chair, the overall effect made her look like a doll.
A doll with no emotion
Without moving even a inch, she waited endlessly for her beloved family's return. After enduring a half-hour of solitude, the butler reentered the room, bowing deeply to Elishia. "I apologize, young miss. The master and madam will join you shortly. Please endure a little longer," he expressed, his voice tinged with worry and a hint of fear. However, she merely turned toward him, gazing with a detached air, as if the situation held no significance for her.
Responding with a simple "Mmh," she averted her attention. The butler, taken aback by her indifference, seemed to expect more. Her emotionless demeanor conveyed a maturity akin to the coldness of the tundra, yet beneath it lay a sadness reminiscent of those who mature too swiftly and bear the heaviest burdens.
Her plight couldn't help but stir pity in the hearts of those who witnessed it, much like Bennett's own tragic circumstances.

The count strolled down the grand hallway, shadowing the maid who expertly guided him through the vast corridors. With each step, an unsettling uncertainty gnawed at his chest.
Elishia
The daughter the he abandoned a year ago. The child that he didn't want.
Initially, he harbored intense animosity toward her, but, truth be told, a hint of guilt now lingered. Despite his flaws and insensitivity, he still possessed a shred of decency. Sure, he didn't exactly like her, but that didn't justify treating her poorly. After all, he was a benevolent lord, okay!? He's not one to mistreat children.
Alas, what's done is done. The only question is; how will she be? Since she was raised by her nanny rather then them. Will she be will and spoiled? Will she be calm and collected? Clingy and childish? And does she blame him for what happened?
The count remained clueless, and that's precisely why he felt so apprehensive. All he could do now was take a seat and observe how she would react, bracing himself for the inevitable reckoning.

Elishia remained motionless in her chair, resembling, resembling a doll. Yet, beneath her outward stillness, her mind wandered elsewhere.
'How long are they going to take?'
Is what little Elishia was thought. She's been sitting in this chair for god-knows-how-long. And an unfamiliar sensation, akin to annoyance — or at least the closest semblance of a feeling she could grasp — lingered within her.
Well, the closet thing she thinks she's 'feeling'.
Emotions, however, was an unknown entity for Elishia. Ever since she could remember, the world was devoid of anything color. She existed within the confines of an emotional void. Every day passed in a monotonous blur, and the absence of happiness, sadness, or fear held no sway over her. And she isn't resisting the aware of this revelation.
Rather, embracing the mundane routine that shaped her colorless existence with welcome arms.
In the present moment, all she could do was continue waiting, resigned to live out the remainder of her seemingly dull life.
Not knowing that soon, her world will be filled will beautiful colors and purpose.
*Creakkk*
The door emitted a soft creak, drawing her back to the reality of the dining room. The aging handsome butler, surprisingly pleased as he approached Elishia. Bending down, he spoke, "Young Miss, they will be here soon-"
His words were cut short as the dining room's front door swung open. Figures began to trickle in, and with a sudden jolt, Elishia sat upright. Her so-called family had finally arrived.
