Oh no.

I'm lost

Is Elishia's current situation. She ran off without warning and now she's paying the consequences.

She got lost within the grand castle and she has yet to encounter a servant. She's been wondering in was seems like a long time. She doesn't know where she is.

How frustrating!

Deeply immerged in her thoughts, she wonder where ever her feet took her.

Eventually, she somehow ended up in them vast training field. It was still well before the evening, thus the cattle ground was still dyed light golden.

She curiously looked at the training ground, having not see this in her entire life time before. She curiously walked into the field.

She curiously looked around at the shatter wooden weapons, for some reason she interested in them. Walking for a little bit more, she soon comes across a something particular.

It was surprisingly, a real blade. It was a delicate short sword that look so small that even a kid could use it . Like Elishia.

She stared at the beautifully unfamiliar weapon. An inexplicable desire to touch it overwhelmed her. Driven by the impulse, she approached the unknown weapon.

Upon reaching it and placing her hand on the hilt, everything changed.

A spark, akin to a lightning bolt, surged up her spine, sending electrifying sensations throughout her entire being. It was as if a missing puzzle piece had been found—an encounter with the other half of herself.

She doesn't know how to explain it, but...

At that moment, she felt, whole.

Grabbing the hilt, she unexpectedly lifted it from the ground. Raising it above her head and

*Swoosh*

Cleanly swinging it through the air. Another spark coursed through her, creating a tingling sensation that spread across her chest and body. It was an unusual, unfamiliar feeling for someone like her. Yet, one thing was clear—she wanted more.

She swung again and again and again and again and again.

Seizing the hilt, she unexpectedly lifted it from the ground. Raising it above her head, a clean swoosh cut through the air. Another spark coursed through her, creating a tingling sensation that spread across her chest and body. It was an unusual, unfamiliar feeling for someone like her. Yet, one thing was clear—she wanted more.

She swung the sword repeatedly, losing track of time. All that occupied her mind was the rhythmic motion of the sword in her hands.

She felt peculiar—trapped in a limbo between feeling and not feeling. Her heart raced at a pace that seemed ready to burst out at any moment. A surge of heat enveloped her, reminiscent of a summer day. And in her chest, she sensed something indescribable. So why did she crave more?

She swung the tiny sword with might and precision someone like her shouldn't. She doesn't know how much time has passed. All she's caring on is swing the sword in her hands.

She feels weird. Like she stuck in a limbo between feeling and not feeling . Her heart is beating so fast that it feels like it can pop out a any minute. She feels hot, like it summer. And she feels something in her chest. So why is it she wants more?

*Swoosh*

She diagonally slashed the air, before twisting her small body, following up with another slash. It was like she was dancing.

But still wasn't not enough. She was more, more, more.

She, somehow, got faster and faster and faster. With speeds unbelievable for some who has never picked up a sword in her life, bent down. Preparing for the last strike.

She heaved in and out, before lunging out, thrusting her blade with everything she had.

*Swoosh*

It generated so much power that it kicked up a vacuum of sort, kicking up the nearby air. A breeze swept through her now-unbound, silky black-blue hair. "Hahh... hahh... haah..." Gasping for breath, her skin gleaming with sweat from the physical exertion. Her arms quivered with fatigue, and even her hair loosened, cascading into free-flowing waves.

She dropped her arms to her side, staring at the dirt-

"Young Miss! There you are!" A sharp, high pitched voice snapped her out of her trance, she kept her head down. The maid hurried descended to the training ground, hastily approaching Elishia. "Young Miss. There you are. We've been worried about you. The carriage has arrived." She gently said, unaware of Elishia predicament.

She was about to continue when Elishia finally raised her head.

"!!"

The maid took notice of her disheveled appearance, with her free hair and her chubby face flushed and sweaty. But the most important thing she notice was her eyes. Rumors have swirled around the grand castle, talking about the recently Young Miss seemingly emotionless manner. But this-This is different from the rumors. Her supposed-dead but breathtaking eyes were now filled with life. They glittered like a fine pair rose quartz, capturing one soul just from a single glance. Some captivating it, captured the young maids glaze for a moment.

She snapped back to reality at her behavior when Elishia said in a milky voice, "Sorry for the wait. let's go."

"Young Miss! There you are!" Nora shouted when she saw me following the other maid. She eagerly ran to me. "I was worried you!! Where were you!?" She asked in a stern tone before paused, notice my state. Before she could say anything, I said, "I'm sorry nanny. I got lost. I wont do it again."

She bowed her head before looking her into the eye. Nora was shocked upon looking at her young miss's eyes. usually, her eyes would be as dead as dead fish's. So why her eyes glittering-with light!?!

What on earth happened when she was gone!?

Another problem soon arise.

Another maid, the stern-looking lady came up to them, bowed and said, "The Master and Madam has that they wished to send the Young Miss off personally."

That news was akin to a bombshell to everyone there. Bennett's and Nora froze up while I just remained calm. Although my impression of them is bad, there's nothing I can do. And the carriage hasn't arrived to. Let's wait

The carriage slowly came into the driveway as the couple and surprisingly, my brother came also well.

The figures approached, walking up to Nora and exchanging words. As their back was turned, they had yet to notice Elishia. It wasn't until the carriage came to a halt that Nora finally broke free. Rushing to the side and opening the door, she seemed ready to assist. However, Elishia surprised everyone by turning around, walking up to her family, and offering a curtsy. Though somewhat stunned, what happened next left them even more bewildered. Elishia rose, standing face-to-face with them, allowing them to gaze into her eyes.

Previously beautiful yet lifeless, her eyes now sparkled with a light and radiance that left them utterly captivated. And then, the unexpected occurred. For the first time in a year...

She smiled

She beautiful smile, as if 1000 flowers bloomed, With grace, she spoke, "Thank you for the invitation, Father and Mother. I hope you have a good day."

Her eyes, her previously dead-men eyes were now sparkled a fine rose quartz, shimmering with life and innocence. It left them daze. Only when she got into the carriage did they snapped out of it. The door closed and the carriage to off. But all of them felt little they lost something precious....
