The Azaroth Empire
A prosperous and powerful country. In fact one of the the strongest Empire, with only the Reinthalio Kingdom and the Luminia Republic it's match within the Minerva continent.
Under the reign of the esteemed Maverick Avaron Azaroth, he rules over the great empire with his 3 loyal dukes by his side. Within the Grand Empire, is home to many commoners and aristocrats alike. Among them, a particularly noble family stands out.
The protectors of the empire, the Castillo Family. A family that has said to exist before the creation of the Great Azaroth Empire. Legends of the past speak of their Ancestor's fateful encounter with a wounded dragon. They nursed it back to health. while guarding it from other predators. When the dragon finally recovered, In gratitude, the dragon bestowed upon them a powerful physique and the strength of a hundred men But that's just a legend.
Alas, legend or not, it does give a variable reason for the Castillo family traits. Those in the Castillo family have a unique trait. Their bodies are filled with pure mana and they grow faster they other people. This allows to to look older than they actually are and use magic to some extent. And they are physically stronger than the average human. Even without training, they are all physically strong.
Due to that, the Castillo family has produced swordmasters and aura users in their family line For generations, they've been tasked to protect the land and guard the Forest of Death. The Forest of Death is home to various monsters who plague their world. Each of them contained something called a 'mana stone', a valuable item used as energy core in magic items or magic spells.
And compared to all the other dungeons and nests, The forest of Death is the resting place of strongest of them all. Just one monster their has the ability to wipe out a city, let alone all of them. The Forest of Death occupies 2/5 of Count Castillo's territory, thus making it important for the Castillo family.
Mana
A mystical energy that freely follows throughout the world, Lorendor. Those who hold exceptional amounts of it can manipulate it, using magic. Currently, 80% of the world can freely use magic. Thus bringing the study of magic to unforeseen heights.
The Castillo Family
A clan of people with physically strong bodies and exceptional amounts of mana. Yet, they don't use it often, other than for physical enchantments or reinforcements. Thus solely being a warrior family. They're known for producing powerful knights and swordsmasters, along with aura users. They hold 1/4 of the entire Empire's territory making them the 2nd largest territory in the Empire.
The Castillo Territory has enormous wealth and military power rivaling even that of the Imperial family, and they all pledge their loyalty to the Empire. Their remarkable accomplishments and resplendent history, they find themselves nestled at the bottom of social ranks. They hold the rank Count,incongruous with their substantial influence and affluence. Why is that?
Well, it all happened 800 years ago, a remarkable tale unfolded when Morgana Castillo became the head of the Castillo family. During that era,, they held the title Duke, distinguishing her as one of the most influential women of her time. She was strong, intelligent, power, everything needed for a head. The youngest person to awaken aura at the mere age 10, she was an utterly, a monstrous genius swordsmaster rivaled by very, very few. Resource enough to create into various business enterprises that soon dominated the commercial business world. Strength greater than any man, yet her beauty remained as captivating as a goddess. She was undoubtedly one of the greatest heads. Her reign lasted for 50 years.
