When they arrived at the pub, they were greeted by people laughing, smell of alcohol and waiters running around with really good looking food in the many plates they were serving.

"No wonder how our mothers got drunk for the first time in here." Joseph said with a slightly disgusted face while checking on his kid and Ruben's.

On the other hand, Nina was thrilled but she couldn't ignore Joseph, Ruben and Robert's complaining about the stale air and she simply turned to them with an "excuse me" look and spoke.
"Look who's talking. You three used to sniff glue in your golden era and now your problem is the smell of alcohol."

Ruth couldn't hold back her laughter as her older brothers were staring at Nina in disbelief.
"There she said it."

Ruben didn't know how to react as he was the one with the shortest temper among the Ramirez siblings, yet he still laughed given that he would usually joke around with Nina since she was a baby.
"You little-"

"What about we just sit down?" Ruth interrupted her brother, still laughing.
They sat down and ordered their food.
Nina was on an empty stomach but that didn't stop her from drinking already.

Richard tried to hide that he was worried about her but it didn't turn out that well as he leaned over her ear.
"You shouldn't drink on an empty stomach."

"Oh so now we're talking?"
Nina said with crossed arms and an annoyed tone.
The boy caught Ruth staring at them so he rolled his eyes and let her be.

When the food arrived, she didn't stop drinking so even with a full stomach, she got drunk and before she knew it, she found herself dancing in the middle of the room with other probably drunk people. She was spinning around and vibing to some music she wasn't even listening.

"Oh God." Ruth sighed, watching some guys approaching Nina and trying to flirt with her.
Richard didn't want to care about her but under the table he was unconsciously clenching his fists.

Nina was drunk but still she wasn't looking for any company. She tried her best to make those boys understand that she wasn't interested but they weren't listening to her, not that they cared to do so.

Richard didn't hesitate as he suddenly got up to reach Nina on the non-existent dance floor to push away one of those dudes. They were around the same age as Richard and Nina and they weren't that muscled so the young Ramirez had no hard time.

"Dude what's your problem?" The boy he pushed asked annoyed.
"Get in line man." Another boy said as he kept dancing next to Nina.

Richard could've sworn that he really was his father's son in that moment but he was still alone against four boys, so he limited himself to glancing back at his brothers.

Ruben sighed while getting up, followed by Joseph and Robert who suggested Ruth to wait for them outside with her husband, their wives and kids.

The three older Ramirez didn't even raise a hand against the four boys as Ruben simply picked Nina up and put her on his shoulder to get out. When the boys started complaining, Joseph and Robert gave them a dirty look shutting them up, followed by Richard who gave them a teasing smile before leaving as well.

Ruben was then carrying bridal style a nearly passed out Nina and the scene couldn't be any funnier as she would usually talk nonsense before passing out again.
Until she started crying, asking to be put down. The oldest Ramirez did as she said, still helping her walking and not letting her go.
Richard also was keeping an eye on her from the back.
