I stood in front of many colleagues. I finished my first 5 years of college. I now had my bachelor's degree. I was presenting some new technology. They seemed to be interested. My boss the ceo looked impressed as well. After I was done my boss said they would think about and be back with me by tomorrow.

I sat with my old and new friends at a bar. Everyone had there soulmate. I, "so have you told your mate you want to live free and wild?" Jen, "no. I can never say it." I, "I told you so." She looked over to her soulmate Jackson. He was a gentleman. Jen, "I never thought I'd feel like this every time I see him." Kevin, "amen to that." They clinked drinks." Kevin even found his. Opal was a down to earth girl and so sweet. Tim's soulmate was a guy but Tim was gay so good for him. Kyle was Tim's anchor. My new friends from college had there mates as well. Hayley meet hers on the first week of college. His name is Dylan. Jim found his on our graduation it was his sisters friend jade. And William found his well walking to work. Her name is Edith. I had my soulmate but never found him. My mark changed to a purple. I could still feel his heartbeat. I never told anyone but my grandpa. Everyone chatted about there life. Tim, "Jen how did you meet Jackson." They were starting there stories. I need to leave. Jen, "I don't feel like talking about it." Edith, "why not?" Jen, "I don't want reina to feel uncomfortable. She hasn't found her mate and It's unfair for her to hear our stories went and still she doesn't have one." I, "for fucksake stop right there. I don't care if I haven't "found" my soulmate. You can still tell your story. But if it makes you feel more comfortable I'll leave. I have work early in the morning anyways." I got up. Kevin, "Reina don't do this." I, "I'm doing nothing ok. I truly have to be up early. My boss will be telling me if they will use my technology or not. So bye everyone." Edith, "it's not our fault reina. Don't get mad." The audacity of some people. I grabbed my jacket and purse. I left them. I got outside and saw so many people. I shook my head. I got into a cab. I removed the bracelet. My mark was still there, beating his heartbeat. I could feel it if i concentrate on it. I covered it again. They act like I'm glass. If they only knew. Driver, "we're here miss." I paid him and got out.

I was in my boss' s office. It was huge and I felt belittled. He was on the phone. I sat up straight when he turned to me. Boss, "so good news. They liked your ideas and technology so we are going to use all of it. Everyone was very impressed." I smiled. I, "thank you." Boss, "is it true you don't have a mate yet?" I, "yes why?" Boss, "I'm a lost soul." I, "oh. My grandparents were lost souls." Boss, "why hide were your mark is supposed to be?" I, "my friends tend to stare." Boss, "awe. I know the feeling. My family always give a look of pity." I, "i just hate it. They act like I can break at any second." Boss, " right." He smiled I, "is this everything mr. Jones? " He nod yes. I got up and left.

I was at home. My only companion was my pup Private. He's a German Shepard mix with husky. The most cutest, fluffiest puppy ever. He snuggled up to me. He was the only one to not judge me. I, "a quiet day at home." I clicked on big hero 6. I love kid movies.
