Boruto was dead tired from running for the whole night, he sneezed and grumbled loudly, he's dead tired, hungry and freezing from the cold of the night, it was 2 days since he got away from Mirai and she was nothing but persistent

He sneezed again. Boruto scowled and kneeled, taking a small pot of tea off the fire and sighing in relief as he drank it. It wasn't anything fancy, just boiled river water and some local herbs, but it warmed his insides. If Mirai found him, he'd just have to deal with it. Bolt was tired of being cold.

So far, his journey was not turning out how he had thought it would be. The journey from the Hidden Leaf to the capital had been quick, with many small towns in between. He hadn't truly needed to survive in the wilderness until now. Now that he had, he dearly missed the modern conveniences afforded to him. Running water. Warm running water. Electricity. A soft bed. Hot food. A roof over his head that didn't let rain fall on him

Boruto managed to avoid the Hidden Leaf, and any of its ninja, by cutting far south, well below the village's borders, and heading due east with haste. He was actually surprised by how easy it was. He hadn't seen nor heard anyone following him, though that didn't mean anything. An Inuzuka hound could be following his scent, or a microscopic Aburame bug could be spying on him at that very moment. He just didn't know. His Byakugan wasn't as developed yet, he could see for 2 kms at most so he wasn't sure.

Finishing off his tea, Bolt wrapped himself in his sleeping bag like a cocoon. Morning came much too early.

The next morning Boruto continued his journey to the cost of the land of fire. After a small breakfast and getting rid of the fire he went on his way. But first he left some clones in the forest practicing some jutsu so he would be ready next time for any fight with anyone that comes.

Boruto never got the chance to properly train yet, he must stay on the move if he wants to not be found so he couldn't stay in the middle of the forest and train loudly so he sticker to creating shadow clones to make them spar and practice some jutsu. When he gets to the land of water he'll get the chance since it was made of countless islands and most of them are empty so he could just find one an train there and learn survival better, two bids with one stone-

Boruto screamed as he felt something tighten around his ankle as he was violently thrown skyward. He saw the rush of wood coming at him, and then he knew nothing.

In the hidden leaf:

Sarada and Mitsuki went to thunder burger to eat something and for the weekly meeting with their past classmates who now are Genin like them. Sarada was still sour from the events that happened in the past week, first the Otsutsuki attack, then the Hokage being kidnapped, and now Boruto went rogue.

She sighed and looked at Mitsuki as they walked to the restaurant, he was more silent than usual and barely spoke to any one, it was obvious he was sad his first and best friend left the village and him and Sarada couldn't blame the boy for feeling sad.
Heck, she was Davistated even though she wouldn't admit it out loud.

Sarada and Mitsuki reached the restaurant and they felt even worse now, this was Boruto's favorite place and it felt wrong for them to come alone, like something important was missing in their life and considering it was only a week neither of the two wanted to know how they'd feel if their teammate isn't back soon.

As the two entered a quick look showed that everyone was sitting in the corner side of the table. Team 5, Team 10 and Team 15 were just chatting among each other and laughing, Sarada smiled and walked to them but noted how slump her reamaining teammate was as he walked after her. The chat died down as they reached the groupe and everyone greeted her warmly.
