Naruto Uzumaki was many things. A great Shinobi, a powerful warrior, a husband and a father as well as Hokage. He achieved a lot in his life and saw many things but nothing prepared him to see his best friend enter his office through a portal holding a 13 year old kid on his shoulder who looked like he was beaten up to a bloody pulp. Wait...
what? Naruto panicked when he saw the beaten up and unconscious boy Sasuke brought to his office. Naruto quickly got up from his chair and hurried towards them.
"What's wrong? What happened to this kid? Sasuke explain to me!" Naruto yelled worried for the kid and Sasuke sighed in annoyance.
"He was in the crash area, he's what was being transported, the people who tried to retrieve him called him... 'the vessel' I don't know what that means but..." Sasuke showed Naruto the boy's palm and Naruto's eyes widened "He has the same mark as Boruto so we need to be careful and get as much info as possible" Naruto nodded in agreement
"Let's take him to the hospital though, he seems really hurt and I don't want anything to happen to him" Naruto gently picked the boy up and carried him on his back then left to the hospital.
Sakura Haruno or now know as Sakura Uchiha is the head of the medical department in the hidden leaf village one of the best medical ninjas in history, she survived the
4th great ninja war and got married, had a daughter and has a stable job so nothing big could happen right? Wrong. The universe decided to mess with her on the form of her friend and her husband bringing a beaten up boy maybe a year older than her daughter who seemed roughed up pretty bad.
Later:
Kawaki woke up in hurry, he was topless and there was bandages around his upper body. Where the hell was he? The last he remembers was fighting that pig bastard, getting his ass kicked because he too damn exhausted than used the karma and blasted the asshole to Hell where he should be. Then the cloaked fuck knocked him out and took him. Dread filled Kawaki at the thought of being captured, where was he? That's definitely not a Kara base but that doesn't mean he's safe.
"Don't worry you're in a safe place now" Kawaki looked to see a blond man leaning on the end of his bed with .... whiskers? Yeah not the weirdest shit he's ever seen so, whatever. He was more focused on getting outta here ASAP
"Where the Hell am I?" Kawaki tried to look agressive but he saw the man not wavering
"You're in the hidden leaf village. I'm Naruto Uzumaki the 7th Hokage of this village." Naruto gave a smile that Kawaki didn't trust.
"Why am I here?" Kawaki glared and Naruto chuckled in response
"Hey, what's funny you stupid old man?!" Kawaki yelled and Naruto smiled fondly at the boy who's just like his son, loud and brash with little to no manners, Heck he even used the same nickname as Boruto.
"Just that you remind me of someone I know" Naruto chuckled and Kawaki raised a brow at the comment
"We'd like to ask some questions if you don't mind" Kawaki's head snapped to the door to see two men, one had his hair tied like some weird pineapple and the other one was..... the asshole that knocked him out!
Kawaki glared heatedly at the man who raised a brow at him. The asshole was mocking him! And he's is too weakened to fight them all.
Kawaki moved quickly and tried to escape, quickly he opened the window and tried to jump but stopped. He didn't stop from fear or hasitation. He can't fucking move! Kawaki saw his shadow darker then before and it was for some stupid reason connected to pineapple head who was.... doing some weird sign with his hands? Kawaki struggled but couldn't escape no matter what.
"Damn you're a tough one huh?" Shikamaru said
"Shut up pineapple!" Kawaki snapped
"It's not wise to keep struggling just sit and we'll talk" Sasuke said in monotone voice
"Fuck you! You cloaked bastard! You're the reason I'm here asshole!"
Kawaki kept struggling but to no avail
"I understand if you're confused kiddo and that you don't trust us-"
Kawaki scoffed in response
"Why the fuck should I?"Naruto smiled and Kawaki stopped struggling so much
"But we'd like to help you so how about we start with something simple for a first question?"
"Like what?!" Kawaki asked grumpily as he sit down on the hospital bed
"What's your name?"
"....."
"You can trust me! I promise!" Naruto gave his usual grin and Kawaki for some reason felt his worries vanish. It was surreal and really ridiculous that this stranger could put him at ease.
"Kawaki.... my name is Kawaki" the boy sighed
"Well Kawaki it's nice to meet you" Kawaki scoffed again "Now can you tell me about the mark on your left palm? The karma? It's important"
"Why do you care?! How do you even know about it?!" Kawaki said suspicions
"Well you called it that and my son has the same mark as yours on his right palm" Kawaki was shocked
"What?! How?! Did jigen create another vessel just in case?!" Naruto looked worried and both Sasuke and Shikamaru were close behind
"Jigen? Who's that? Is he the leader of Kara? And what does he have to do with this karma?" Naruto looked concerned. Momoshiki was the one to give Boruto his Karma so does that mean there's another Otsutsuki on earth
"Jigen is the leader of that cluster fuck cult called Kara. The sunauva bitch gave me this mark and his scientists experimented on me to make me a fucking weapon and a vessel of his"
"What does that have to do with the karma seal?" Naruto as Ked worried
"The seal is his way to take me over"
Kawaki growled and it was obvious how hateful to Kara and Jigen he is. Not that anybody could blame him.
Well shit. Boruto was in a much more danger then they thought. It wasn't the outside world that was danger. He was a danger to himself and Naruto will help him through and save as his father but for now his main focus was this child. Naruto could see it in the boy's eyes, the loneliness. He's been there before and he knows how it feels. Naruto decided then that this kid is responsiblility.
"What about the things that grows from your arm?" Sasuke asked and Kawaki glared at him
"Kawaki please answer the question" Naruto requested softly and the boy sighed. Sasuke was right. Naruto was much better with kids than him.
"Well it's called nano Tech. It's some kind of very small cells in the body that makes me able to make these things" Kawaki turned his arm to a blade, Sasuke was going to move but Naruto looked at him to stand down
"And it makes me heal faster" Naruto nodded
"Thank you for being cooperative, Kawaki" the boy roomed his eyes.
"Now I want to inform you that you're in the hidden leaf's custody and protection" Kawaki looked surprised
"Protect me from Kara? Don't make me laugh they'll just burn the whole place and drag me" Kawaki tensed seeing the man's expression darken. Did Kawaki screw up....
"Over my dead body" Naruto growled and Kawaki looked at him surprised
Naruto's expression went back to being soft and kind. "So wanna eat something? I bet you're hungry!" Naruto grinned. Kawaki opened his mouth to protest but it died on his throat as his stomach spoke first growling loudly. Kawaki looked embarrassed and Naruto laughed whole heartedly in good nature. Kawaki stared at this man for few sounds, this seventh Hokage put him at ease and for real not deception so maybe he can trust him. For now anyway.
"So how about I treat you for a full course meal?" Naruto asked and Kawaki perked up at that.
