Zany neighbours from hell
-
The neighbours from our District come from far and wide
Mainly from African countries and are here for an easy ride
Banging the doors day and night and shouting out loud
Unsettling the elderly in their unruly crowd
-
With their voices they speak in a deep aggressive tone
Enjoying the modern pleasures of a mobile phone
With little consideration for anyone but themselves
Being a neighbour living near can be bad for your health
-
Their offspring enjoy the new freedoms of our land
But are out of touch with our culture so little they understand
Bringing their seedy ways of living for all to see
Peddling their drugs seems to set them free
-
As the noise levels rise and last all night
We wait patiently for the early morning light
As they sleep all day like a vampire in it's tomb
Filling our lives up with despondency and gloom
