Opening Scene

A phone is ringing and a house is shown.

"Was that your house?" Enid asked, a still pale Wednesday nodded not saying a word, which made Enid look at her worried.

Zooms into kitchen where we see Tara end the call

Many look back at Wednesday surprised at her wearing a pink top and not her usual black and white attire

She walks back over and it shows she's texting her friend, Amber, 'Moms it of town again. YOU should come over HERE. Free dinner. Many binge watch options.' 'have to do better' 'Unlocked liquor cabinet ' 'SOLD'

Wednesday suddenly got many looks sent to her from that text, while she suddenly looked away whistling a note.

She smiles before taking a breath out of her inhaler when the phone starts ringing again

"Your asthmatic?" Bianca asks while Wednesday mutters a small yes in reply.

She ignores it and texts amber, 'fucking landline won't stop ringing ' 'is Wes still bothering you?' As it's still ringing she puts her phone down and picks up the phone, "Hello?"

"Hello, is Christina there?"

"No, she is not available. May I take a message?"

"Sorry, yeah. I'm a friend from group oh… shit." Tara smiles and asks, "From her shit?"

Seeing the looks she was being given she quickly says, "look I sweared a lot back then sorry "

"Um, just tell her I'm from group. I'm Charlie. She has my number."

"She goes to a group?" There is a drop of silence before he replies, "Look, I shouldn't have … just tell her Charli called."

"And I will do exactly that Charlie, once you tell me what kinda we're talking about?"
"AA,NA" she asks while texting Amber 'Dude I think this is my mom's new bf…' as he chuckles and starts talking again, "well you sound exactly like she describes you" , "my mom talks about me in group?" She says disbelievingly.

"Sorry I know we're watching something in your past but why this specific conversation?" Xavier asks looking at Wednesday curiously, where she quickly replies a "you'll see". He still looks curious but decides to drop it for now.

"Look I don't think I can really talk about that."

"what does she say about me?" Tara asks

"Well she loves you very much."

"Ooh what does she love about me?"

"Uh okay well she loves that you're creative. You love art and TV and movies."

"Kay well lots of people love movies" he quickly replies by saying, "she says you love scary movies. And that you guys have that in common. She's proud of making a fan out of you" this strikes a chord with Tara as she replies, "she is?"

"Why do you sound so surprised?" Eugene asks her as she replies, "Just didn't sound like something she would say."

"She told me the other day she was wondering…what's your favorite scary movie?" He asks as Tara replies. "Uhh…the Babadook. It's an amazing meditation on motherhood and grief."
