*The Next Day*

Jayden's Pov

I woke up, and got out of bed, and went to take a shower. As the warm water cascaded over me, I couldn't help but think about mom. But after the incident, I forgot what mom looked like. I missed his smile and the way he used to tuck me in at night. It was a painful reminder of the void that had been left in my life. However, I was determined to uncover the truth about his death and bring justice to those responsible. After my shower, I put on my clothes and made my way downstairs. As I walk into the kitchen, I see my cousins and grandpa. " morning, everyone," I say. They all respond with cheerful greetings, but I couldn't shake off the feeling of emptiness that lingered within me. Despite the warm atmosphere, I knew that behind their smiles, they too carried the weight of our shared loss. "Harper, you and Jayden are going with Rowan and Lucas to Central City Mall. Since Gotham City Mall is under construction," my grandpa said, his voice filled with a mix of sadness and determination. "It's important for us to stick together during these tough times." I nodded, understanding the need for unity in our family. Deep down, I knew that our trip to Central City Mall was not just about shopping; it was a way for us to distract ourselves momentarily from the pain and seek solace in each other's company.

Rowan's Pov

As Grandpa said, we are going to Central City Mall, but Uncle Damian tells us to change in case the Justice League or Young Justice are at Central City Mall. We go change clothes because we are still the grandchildren of Bruce Wayne. I walk back to mom's room and borrow one of his hoodies. I am wearing a red hoodie, black ripped jeans, and black combat boots.I'm also sports a red Robin beanie and has red and blue piercings in my ears. When I got down the stairs, Harper was wearing a navy blue sweater, a black skirt, and black heeled boots. She also has a nightwing beanie and blue and gold piercings in her ears. Jayden was wearing a red hood hoodie, black sweatpants, and black combat boots. He is also a red-hood beanie and has red and black piercings in his ears. Lucas was wearing a Robin hoodie, gray ripped jeans, and black combat boots. He is also a Robin beanie and has red and black piercings in his ears. "Have a good time, kids," Grandpa tells us. As we headed out the door, I couldn't help but notice how each of us had incorporated our favorite superhero into our outfits. Harper's nightwing beanie and blue and gold piercings added a touch of her rebellious spirit, while Jayden's red-hood beanie and ear piercings reflected his edgy style. Lucas, on the other hand, embraced his admiration for Robin with his beanie and matching ear piercings. Grandpa's words filled us with excitement as we set off for a day filled with adventure. We get in the car, and Alfred drives us to Central City Mall.

*When they arrive at Central City Mall*

Lucas's Pov

Alfred just dropped us off at Central City Mall. As we stepped out of the car, the vibrant lights and bustling crowd of the mall greeted us. Excitement surged through our veins as we eagerly made our way towards the entrance, ready to embark on a day filled with endless possibilities. "So where are we going first, Harp?" I asked Haper. Haper smiles mischievously and replies, "Well, Lucas, I think we should start by exploring the trendy shops on the upper level. Maybe we'll find some unique piercings to add to our collection!" As we make our way up the escalator, the anticipation of discovering new and exciting pieces of body art fills the air. As we walk, I see Harper's energy is depleting. "How about we get some food first?" I say. Jayden also noticed Harper's energy was depleting. " "Yeah, a quick bite to eat would be great. We can recharge and then continue our adventure," Jayden suggests, looking at Harper with concern. Harper nods gratefully and agrees, "That sounds like a good plan. Let's find a cozy cafe nearby and refuel before we dive back into exploring." With renewed energy and satisfied appetites, we resume our quest for unique piercings, ready to uncover the hidden gems of the upper-level shops. Five minutes later, we find a small cafe near a vibrant street corner. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee and baked goods fills the air as we step inside, instantly creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The cozy cafe is adorned with quirky artwork and soft music playing in the background, creating the perfect ambiance for us to relax and recharge. "Harper, you know that you are supposed to always have snacks on you because of your extreme high metabolism." Jay asks Harper. Harper chuckles and replies, "I know, Jay, but sometimes it's nice to indulge in the delicious treats this cafe has to offer. Plus, the atmosphere here is so comforting that it makes me want to stay a little longer and enjoy the moment." Harper's Pov

After telling Jay, I chuckle and reply, "I know, Jay, but sometimes it's nice to indulge in the delicious treats this cafe has to offer. Plus, the atmosphere here is so comforting that it makes me want to stay a little longer and enjoy the moment." As they settle into a cozy corner booth, they browse through the menu, excited to discover what culinary delights await them. Twenty minutes later, me, Jayden, and the others finish our snacks. We pay, then head to find the trendy shops on the upper level. Maybe we'll find some unique piercings to add to our collection! As we walk through the bustling mall, Jayden spots a sign for a new piercing studio. Intrigued, we decide to check it out and see if they have any unique options that would complement our collection. As we walked, I bumped into someone, then I looked up and saw a man with bright ginger hair, bright green eyes, and Flash-inspired clothes. "I'm so sorry, sir." I apolgized. "It's quite alright," the man replied with a friendly smile. "No harm done." Intrigued by his unique style, I couldn't help but compliment him on his outfit. "I love your Flash-inspired clothes," I said. "Where did you find them?"
