In another universe, the Beowolf would've shredded her face immediately as the red orbs grasped at the Sovereign, black and skeletal inches from her face, the Beowolf snarling into the wind, a breeze slashing past as it swiped once more.
She seized hold of the beast's arm as it clawed at the Sovereign's bicep, elevating it to her as the Grimm's nails pierced into her shoulder; with one blow, she smashed through its bone-like mask, sending the now-broken Beowolf spiralling back downwards.
"Really? More Beowolves? All these species and this mass grave of them sends me another dog. How mundane."
Even with the vessel artificially beached atop a potential mountain of conjoined Grimm, the least they could do is send something of value her way, or so Ozen thought.
The thumps of ripped metal ascending towards her could be heard above the rumbling, the shining bolts in the distance always getting closer, and the intense downpour hammering her.
"Hmm?"
Hands too large to be deemed even "abnormal" perched above the ship's railing, each finger shaped like a deformed club. The beast's fingertips then grew into the enormous creature and its ape-like, muscular half-sprang onto the ship. The Grimm's stride toward the Sovereign made the vessel tremble, but the Immovable remained unfazed despite the rumble, eyeing her target.
"I see! At last, they have the audacity to send something meaningful. I hope this beast will be of entertainment-" The water took on the shape of the Immovable as she extended her arms wide. She shook her head to maintain her focus on the animal in front of her, even with the rain pouring down around her eyes. "Come then! Test me! My flesh is willing, and my muscles are ready! Strike me down, creature! Hit me monk-"
The weight of the Beringel's fist squashed Ozen's entire head and spine. Ozen woke up seconds later to find herself surrounded by the quiet hum of machinery, the crumpled heap of wreckage she left behind, and the darkness of the ship's interior.
"...What?" As she stood up, Ozen noticed the storm continue to descend from the hole over her surroundings. The unwavering moon cast itself into the shattered hull, a single light shining through, painting her flesh in cold water. "Where...am I?" Sheathing her earlier that day, like the afternoon sun, in a moment, the light was gone instantly.
Ozen moved as the Beringal descended, the clumps of black muscle rampaging into where she formerly rested. She landed on her feet and slammed into a stiff blackness, its impassivity echoing across the seemingly empty room. The beast swiftly became a shadow of itself as it moved from the moonlight, with only the silhouette of muscle speeding towards her in the dark hull, a trail of crimson eyes moving along its path.
With a collision of meat and rage, Ozen's and the Beringel's shoulders collided, their bodies both hidden in the dark, arms still locked against one another, the Immovable pummeled into the beast's armour only to be swatted away, her body bending around the arm and flying overhead to the moonlight.
Mid-flight, Ozen's body was violently collided with and propelled downward into the wreckage by another human. Their white cloak covered her eyes, and the two bodies stayed uncomfortably entwined above and below.
"Shit! Sorry Ozen! I didn't mean-"
The Beringel tearing through the ship's guts interrupted Summer's apology. Scrambling away from one other, they only managed to reach the opposite walls as a cloud of dust trailed the Beringel into a burst of orange and black. The hull flared white, and the pairs of eyeballs were attacked by smoke.
Thunderous crackles and reverberating metal shredding replaced the machine's hum. When Ishmael's vessel died, all that remained were Grimm's howls and the rain. After the smoke cleared, they could see how the Beringel stood tall amidst the flames, adorned with the engine's shrapnel in its side. The engines burnt, the steel lining the walls of the burned, and wherever the water had touched, the electrical fire now burned too.
