"Can't believe you convinced pretty boy to come to our game," Eunwoo said in disbelief. Upon seeing Taehyung, the school's prettiest boy alongside Hoseok, the school's most popular boy, their arms linked together and talking to Namjoon, Hoseok's boyfriend who had been forced to tag along, the entire student body was in a frenzy.

A group of girls nearby the three tried capturing Taehyung's attention yet the timid male flinched away from their approaches, causing them to coo loudly at him. Everyone thought of Taehyung's timid behavior as cute, much to Jungkook's annoyance. It seemed like just in the span of a few weeks, Taehyung had managed to hold a soft spot with everyone. Jungkook didn't like that at all.

By now, everyone knew about Jungkook's crush on the shy blonde. Many supported him, many didn't care and many disliked it. One of them being head cheerleader Hwang Gina, an insufferable woman who was clearly enjoying her peek of life in high school and who also had the strong opinion that the head cheerleader and football captain should be dating. Well, sucks to be her because Jungkook would rather kiss a pole than make out with her.

Everyone was aware of Jungkook's interest in Taehyung, everyone but the dreamy little puppy himself. He was sheltered by Jimin and their friends who of course were influenced by Jimin himself and urged to protect Taehyung by Jimin. Most of Jungkook's friends made fun of Jungkook about this fact, yet they were all supportive of their friend, wishing Jungkook nothing but the best.

It was the first time they've seen Jungkook being so out of it for a pretty boy, they even dared to say he was in love. Only behind Jungkook's back of course. The last one to mock him about Taehyung ended up with a broken nose. But that is a story for a different day.

Taehyung wore an adorable teddy bear jacket, cuddled up in it and the scarf, Jimin's, was tightly wrapped around him so he wouldn't get cold. The scarf was in the colors of their school and Taehyung looked lovely in it.

"-kook! He's not listening again. Do I have to dress like Taehyung for you to listen to me?" The annoyed voice of Mingyu caused Jungkook to snap out of his daze, quickly spinning around to find the entire football team staring at him expectedly.

"What?" He asked, obviously confused and many facepalmed. "Why is he our captain again?" Mingyu groaned, stalking over to Jungkook and pulling at his shoulder.

"Maybe we should go ask Taehyung on how to get Kook's attention."

"Maybe he'll give us tips."

"Too bad Blueberry has the attention span of a fly."

"Okay, I get it, damn! Let a man have his moment," Jungkook grumbled annoyed, looking over at Mingyu, "what were you saying, Gyu?"

Mingyu sighed dramatically. "I was asking our distracted holy captain to inform us about the game's strategy. But maybe you'll pay attention to us when we all dye our hair blonde."

Snickers were heard through the team just when Jimin jogged over to them, being late after coming straight from dance practice.

"What did I miss?" He asked instead of a greeting and Jungkook quickly stepped in before his dumbass friends could embarrass him in front of Taehyung's best friend. He needed to be on Jimin's good side in order to have a chance with Taehyung, because Jimin had such a huge influence in Taehyung's life. Everyone knew that. The honey method.

"H-Hobi, I don't think w-we should disturb them, they look busy," Taehyung whined as he was dragged towards the football team. Hoseok was relentless in wishing the team good luck, something he always did before a game and this time, he was bringing Taehyung and Namjoon.

The tallest of them was like a gentle giant, as told by Hoseok and he really adored Hoseok despite their bickering. Namjoon, as Taehyung learned, would do anything for his charming boyfriend of two years now. The two were so adorable together, a perfect power couple many weren't aware of from how private they handled their relationship. Taehyung liked that about the two, not flaunting their relationship out in the open, keeping to themselves and only sharing fondness when it was appropriate.

"Nonsense, it's my tradition! I'm not gonna break it." And that was the end of the discussion. Taehyung was going to tag along whether he liked it or not.

"Hiya guys!" Hoseok greeted the team cheerfully. Thankfully, they seemed to have finished their meeting and many greeted Hoseok back with smiles on their faces. Of course no one thought of Hoseok interrupting them.

Before being in a relationship with Namjoon, Hoseok had something with Yugyeom but they departed as friends. Since that time, Hoseok had his connections to the football team. It was how he had first met Jimin and after sneaking a glance at the male's flexibility, Hoseok just knew he had to see Jimin dance, that boy was talented as hell!

"Just wanted to wish you best of luck today, I know you'll beat their asses," Hoseok beamed widely despite his vulgar choice of words while Taehyung squirmed by his side. Namjoon followed his boyfriend's wishes while Taehyung glanced shyly at Jungkook, peeking at the handsome jock from under his lashes.

Jungkook in return smiled at Taehyung, flashing white teeth at the male.

"Good luck," Taehyung whispered as well. The footballers were quick to utter their thanks, Eunwoo wriggling his brows at Jungkook in an obvious way but the other ignored him.

"Thanks, Sweetheart," he replied with a smirk, his attention solely on Taehyung. The blonde bit his lip, tugging on Hoseok's arm. The copper-haired quickly caught his draft.

"We'll leave you to your preparations. Good luck," Hoseok waved at them with his free hand, winking at the footballers before taking Taehyung and Namjoon off the field.

Jungkook watched them leave before finally turning his focus to the game as the opponent team arrived at the field. He cracked his neck. It was time to impress his crush now.
