"TaeTae, I am so sorry, my teacher is an ass," Jimin apologized profusely as he rushed to Taehyung's side and crashed into his best friend. Taehyung stumbled. Jimin consisted completely out of muscles after all and he had a strength Taehyung couldn't be compared to.

"Jiminie... did something happen with your teacher?" Taehyung asked, swallowing his disappointment from Jimin not showing up at lunch. Jungkook's friends have luckily been incredibly kind and welcoming but what if they hadn't been? Taehyung had needed Jimin. But upon realizing how needy and selfish that felt, Taehyung softened against Jimin and finally hugged the dark-haired back.

Jimin sniffed close to his ear. "I was disagreeing with something he had said but that bastard had to banter with me and then asked me to stay after class," he complained, making Taehyung giggle.

"Jiminie, didn't we agree that you would stop arguing with your teachers?"

"Not when they are wrong! And he was wrong, oh Tae, you should've heard what that dumbass said, he really told us with his whole chest that it was fine keeping slaves during imperialism because and I quote 'this is just how it was at the time' like can you believe that??"

Taehyung smiled lovingly at his best friend. Jimin and his urge to save the world from all wrongs and stand up to the people who can't. It was one of the traits Taehyung loved so much about his amazing best friend.

"What a horrible man," he agreed, "but still, I missed you at lunch, Jiminie."

"I'm sorry TaeTae, I'll make it up to you. Anyways, how was it? Did they behave? Do I have to kill someone or beat them up for being rude or mean to you?" Jimin's protectiveness jumped out and Taehyung ruffled his hair teasingly, making Jimin screech in protest. He only didn't kill Taehyung like any other because the blonde used his best puppy eyes and pouty lips, his hidden superpower. No one, especially not Jimin could resist them.

"How dare you distract me with being cute," Jimin huffed but he only smoothed his hair before pressing a smacking kiss to Taehyung's cheek, the blonde moving away with a laugh.

"No Jiminie," Taehyung answered Jimin's previous flow of questions, "they weren't mean. They were actually really sweet and I think they tried to impress me. Plus, they were teasing Jungkook more than anything." Taehyung smiled at the memory.

He thought about how all teased Jungkook about him but without making fun of Taehyung. Jungkook's friends might be rowdy, loud, and well, jocks, but they never went over the line and protected everyone in the group. And funnily enough, all of them loved playing matchmaker.

"Jiminie... do you think Jungkook likes me?" Taehyung finally asked, ever so shy and gnawing on his bottom lip. He might be incredibly shy and oblivious but if he was hit with the sledgehammer of truth more than twice, even he opened his eyes. And all the obvious remarks have been there, even from Jungkook.

Taehyung simply hadn't believed in the words because how could someone as perfect and likeable as Jungkook like someone like him, who needed to have specific terms met in order to feel comfortable, who shied away from contact often enough and had problems with stuttering and his self esteem.

But he did like Jungkook, a lot, too much if he were to admit it out loud. Spending time with Jungkook left Taehyung on ease because he got to know the jock and came to trust him over it. Jungkook wouldn't play with his feelings. And if he actually ended up being played, then Jungkook was a splendid actor which in return wouldn't help Taehyung's case that the golden boy, as he was called by his friends, had another talent to fawn about.

"Does he like you...? Tae, my sweet oblivious baby, you're officially the last one to know."

Taehyung pouted indignantly at that. "Don't make fun of me," he complained, swatting Jimin's arm.
