Finding the hedgehog

11 years later in section 3b on copper nine. I was playing around with the buttons on a machine when I thought of a certain blue hedgehog. A smile crept across my face, as I grabbed a ring. I held it close to my chest. I thought of the place the other portal led to and tossed the ring. The same area was shown through the ring portal. I took a deep breath to calm myself.

"Sonic, here I come" I declared, before jumping through the portal. The world that Sonic when to was all green and full of vegetation compared to the icey tundra of copper 9. I flew out of the vegetation and looked at the place below. I spotted a sign that read "Green Hills, Montana". I looked to the place that was green hills and say a blue light go past. It went towards a cave and through an opening. I landed on the roof of the cave a stabbed my tail into the earth to keep me up. I watched as the hedgehog did a bunch of things. He read comics, played a sang, and a ball game. He suddenly hit a bag causing it to fall and the contents to scatter.

"Oh, no!" Sonic shouted as he ran to gather the Rings and put them back and then took a look at the paper, which was actually a map of planets. I was only given a bag of rings. Never a map. I had more rings than Sonic though. Sonic held up a Ring to the map against Earth on the map. He then hovered it over another planet, represented by mushrooms. Sonic tossed the ring and it opened up a portal to the Mushroom Planet, where thousands of mushrooms large and small grow like forests. Sonic now looked annoyed. "I hate mushrooms." he complained, I snickered. He soon ran off once more and I took off after him. He ran off to the city of Green Hill. A cop was holding a pastry I couldn't make out. A family of ducks started crossing the road and the man was halting traffic in order to let the ducks cross and he also talked to them.

"Morning! Donald, Daisy, Daffy." He greeted, with the ducks not responding. I saw a older kid throw away a younger kid's notebook into the trash. I turned on my human disguise and went over to the two of them.

"Hey! What do you think your doing?" I asked, making the two kids cowar at the sight of me.
"Nothing miss" the older kid responded, before running away. I walked over to the trash and reached in. grabbing the notebook and handing back to kid.

"Th-Thank You Miss...?" the kid stuttered, looking at me waiting for my name.

"The names Y/N! Whats your?" I puzzled, I sat down at a nearby table. The little girl came over and sat down cautiously.

"Anna." She answered shyly.

"Mind showing me what 's in your notebook?" I questioned, making Anna perk up. She opened up the notebook and showed me each drawing. I stayed talking to her until it was dusk. I had completely forgotten about Sonic. I walked Anna back to her house and met her parents. They asked for my number. I was confused before they elaperated. Anna has apparently never been comfortable with other people. But since she seemed to like me they wanted me to come over again. I just asked if I could come back around noon. They gave me an okay so I thanked them and left. I changed back and flew up into a tree. I closed my eyes and got some rest but suddenly a large power surge woke me up causing me to fall out. I groaned as I had hit the ground pretty hard. I decided to just get some rest on the ground.

When I woke up I started to go to Anna's house but was suddenly surrounded by floating... Eggs? I turned around and was met by a weird man.

"So, the alien has a friend? And they're a robot?" He cackled as he grabbed my arm. I was close to Anna's house so she ran out to find me in danger.

"Anna! Go back inside." I spoke as she looked at me scared. She ran back inside, I sighed knowing she was safe at least. The man dragged me into his lab and started to interrogate me. A new man came in and distracted him. I took that as my chance to get out of there. I got up and ran past the two men.

"Get back here!" the first man screamed, as I opened my wings and launched up into the air. I flew over the town back to Sonic but I noticed him run over to a house. I landed as he broke into the garage.

"Okay, I'm in." He spoke softly as he got down from the workbench and onto the floor. "With minimal damage to Donut Lord's property." He continued, he reached into the satchel and pulled out a Ring. "Here we go. It didn't work out on Earth, but that's okay! You're going to a safe world. A nice, safe world filled with mushrooms--mushrooms that'll be your only friends. That sounds awful, I can't do this! You have to do it. There's no other option." he said to himself. He took a deep breath. "All right." He encouraged himself. I went through the window and tapped him on the shoulder.

"Ahhh!" he screamed as he tackled me. "Wait! Y/N?" he quetsioned, looking at me. He got up and pulled me up. He gave me a hug and I hugged back.

"I missed you" I spoke, as he let go.

"This is perfect! I won't be alone!" He exclaimed, making me look at him confused.

"I'm not going with you" I commented making him sad.

"Okay" He said saddened by my response. He prepared to toss the ring when we heard the door to the garage barging open and we saw the cop pointing the tranquilizer gun and a flashlight while looking around.

"SFPD, pending background check! Paws in the air!" The cop ordered, pointing the gun and flashlight at a stunned Sonic and a shocked me.

"Uh... meow?" Sonic meowed, making the cop scream in horror and Sonic and I screamed back before Tom fired the tranq gun and shot Sonic in the leg with a dart.

"Ow!" Sonic complained, as Sonic started losing consciousness, he reads the words on the cop's shirt.

""San... Francisco"?" He spoke, before dropping the Ring and it opened up a portal to the sprawling streets of San Francisco in the middle of the floor and a bewildered cop watched while Sonic stumbled to the ground pushing me making drop mine and his ring satchel through the portal, which landed on the roof of the Transamerica Building. The portal began to close.

"No." he muttered, but the portal was now closed, leaving an unconscious Sonic lying on the ground and the cop, still in shock at what he saw. I sat next to Sonic waiting for him to regain conscious.

"What?" The cop muttered, reminding me he was still there. I stood up and turned to him. I activated my human disguise and began to approach him. Before he could say anything I spoke up.

"Here is whats gonna happen." I hissed, making him shiver.
