It was fun, watching Izuku rediscover all the small things in their home. To see him gush over all the merch of their friends and hear him giggle as they crawled under the covers together. Every night was like a sleepover, since Izuku wasn't used to being able to sleep in the same bed. UA was very strict about stuff like that. All in all this quirk accident wasn't too bad. Katsuki might even like seeing his boyfriend so full of wonder and curiosity about their careers and other hero stuff he didn't remember. It had been a while since he was able to geek out like that with their schedules overfilled and their sleep patterns a mess.

"I love you," Katsuki muttered, kissing the top of his head as Izuku dozed off to sleep. They'd gotten a few days off. Izuku to recover and Katsuki to look after him and make sure nothing happened. A quirk accident was still a quirk accident, and since they barely knew anything about the effects it was crucial someone was watching the nerd 24/7.

"I love you too, Kacchan," he mumbled, nuzzling closer to his chest. "This feels like a dream."

"Oh yeah?"

"Yeah," they hummed. "Being married to Kacchan is like a dream come true."

"We're not married yet, nerd," Katsuki pointed out. "And I'm afraid the wedding planning is going to have to wait a while."

"Hmm," Izuku mumbled. "Sorry, this is all my fault."

"It's fine," Katsuki told him. "You'll have your memories back in no time at all and we can start planning every little detail together."

"Who is going to walk down the aisle?" Izuku wondered out loud. "You know, since we're both guys."

"We could both walk down the aisle," Katsuki shrugged. He hadn't really thought about things like that, to be honest, but it was something they had to talk about. "We can ask both our moms to do it, the old hag would be delighted."

"I can imagine," Izuku laughed. "And we'll both wear white suits, right? I always envisioned wearing a white suit at our wedding."

"You thought about it?" Katsuki asked, a little surprised Izuku was thinking about marrying Katsuki even when they only just got together. They'd only been dating for a few months before graduation, way too early to even think about proposing. Although... Katsuki can't say he hadn't thought about it back then, too.

"Of course," Izuku said. "I was crushing on you for the longest time. I even made moodboards about it, which, uh, now that I say it out loud is kind of embarrassing..."

"Nah, it's cute," Katsuki chuckled, ruffling his hair. "Bet you wrote a whole notebook full of ideas and shit too. Which you gotta promise to show me when we start planning this shit for real."

"If you promise not to laugh," Izuku said, making Katsuki snort. "I'm serious, Kacchan!"

"Yeah, yeah, whatever," he chuckled. "I won't make too much fun of your sappy ideas."

"That's the best I'm gonna get, isn't it?"

"Take it or leave it, nerd," Katsuki grinned, pressing a quick kiss on his lips. "Now close your eyes and get some sleep."

"Yes sir," Izuku laughed, making Katsuki roll his eyes. This fucking idiot... God, he loved him so much. After another three days of being at home, getting to know his surroundings and current lifestyle, Izuku was allowed to get back to work. There had been no changes in his condition so far, which was a little concerning, but no reason to panic. Isha had assured them that these types of quirks could take time. Sometimes there was a specific trigger to it, sometimes it happened gradually on its own. They had no idea how this one worked, so Katsuki tried not to stress over it, even if it had already been five days.
