hyunjin winced when the fabric of his robe rubbed against the cuts on his left thigh - yes, he rarely cleaned his cuts because he's simply lazy and doesn't have bandage and all.

everytime after he did it, he'll just pat the blood with tissue and then done, just like that until the blood dries.

that's probably why his scars are brown and ugly to him. he's ashamed to do that and have ugly and messy thin lines on his wrist and his thigh.

everytime he looked at the mirror in the bathroom, he'll always have a look of disgust on his face, a look that he's used to.

a look from seungmin, his husband who's very oblivious to this.

a year ago, the two married. arranged. they were arranged by their parents, believing that their marriage would bring so many benefits to their companies as they're very greedy.

and what they were expecting became true. money does come to them more easily and it brings happiness to the whole family- or so people thought.

there are so many dark secret behind the Hwang-and-Kim's luxurious mansion.

hyunjin, the Hwang's only and first born, grew up watching his mother getting slapped by his father that has anger issues, resulting to him having a huge fear for his dad and obeying him for everything, which Mr. Hwang love. that is another reason why he loves his son so much, he would never lay a finger on his beloved son.

if Mr. Hwang ever finds out about hyunjin's abusive relationship with his son-in-law, seungmin is so done.

Kim seungmin, his parents' second born, also the last one, grew up in a big mansion and was spoiled with everything - except love. Seungmin had always hated everything in his house - money, and wealth.

he's sick of it, he's sick of money, luxurious cars, jeweleries, gold and everything. he hates it so much. he wished he can live a normal life, being an average person.

but kim seungmin was far from that. he is not someone kind, calm and humble. yes, he does not like all the money but he is wrapped in expensive suits and glossy black shoes with multiples of expensive silver watches.

seungmin is an arrogant man that has slight anger issues and is cold. he hates hyunjin so much, sometimes, he would have the audacity to touch hyunjin, which made Hyunjin cry but he decided to seal him mouth shut as he realized that his heart wants seungmin. he would never thought of having the same fate just like his mother.

one night before their first anniversary, hyunjin knocked on seungmin's door as they have separate rooms even after marriage.

"come in," seungmin's muffled voice were heard, giving Hyunjin permission to enter his big bedroom, which was supposed to be the couple's but seungmin shooed hyunjin away and gave him the money to buy everything he want for his room.

hyunjin would only sleep there if their parents decided to visit their son.

the room was a little bit dark as the screen from the television was the only source of light. he can see seungmin's handsome face watching the television on the couch seriously, he had always looked so serious.

"what do you want?" seungmin asked, his voice monotone. hyunjin gulped as he felt throat drying at the question, he's so nervous and scared at the same time, he even forgot the question.

he stood there, frozen. "um... uh..." seungmin looked at him questionably with one eyebrow raised, intimidating hyunjin. "n-nevermind," hyunjin muttered.

seungmin nodded even though he was getting a little bit annoyed at hyunjin.

hyunjin fiddled with his fingers, avoiding seungmin's eyes as best as he can. "i-im going," he muttered but seungmin didn't reply him but followed him to his room instead.
