The Fire Wolves (book 5)

Chapter. 4 humans

Dark Knight, toxic and scar went on a walk to the west side of the kingdom. They hit what dark Knight called the back mountains. Tunnels tangled together there. "I hear something" toxic said as he stopped mid walk. "Let's speed up" dark Knight said as he began running. After a few minutes of running they made it to the tunnels.

"I hear it too" dark Knight said. "Follow along" dark Knight said as he climbed into a tunnel. They searched and climbed for twenty minutes until finally they made it to an exit. "There!" Scar shouted as he pointed out the exit. All three wolves climbed out and took a few steps. A long black road with two yellow stripes stretches for miles right in the forest. "What is that?" Toxic asked. He jumped back as an oncoming red colored hunk of medal came flying on the road. It made a roaring sound as it passed the three wolves.

The wind made their fur swoosh to the side for a few seconds. "WHAT THE HELL?" Scar yelled. "What the fuck was that" dark Knight said as his eyes widened. The three wolves backed up a few steps. Soon, another colored hunk of metal came flying past them on the road. "In scared now" scar said. "Don't be, it seems that they only stick to the road." Dark Knight said.

BANG! Something flew past the wolves and hit the rock wall of mountain. "Did anyone else see or hear that?" Toxic asked. The two other wolves nodded. They stood still. Dark Knight inspected the hole in the mountain. "WE'RE BEING HUNTED!" dark Knight yelled. "QUICK IN THE TUNNEL!" Dark Knight yowled as he jumped into the tunnel. BANG! another shot was fired and just missed scar. The wolves huddled in the tunnel and then began crawling their way out again.

As soon as they popped out of the tunnel they began sprinting back to camp. "RUN!" Toxic said. They ran beside each other and jumped into camp. Dark Knight controlled his breath as he stood in camp with toxic and scar. The pack looked confused and worried. "Are y'all okay?" Maple paw asked as she walked over to them. "We saw something scary!" Toxic called out. "Humans know we live here!" Dark Knight said quickly. Maple paws eyes widened.

Dark Knight jumped onto his high Rock. "Everyone gather beneath the high Rock for a clan meeting." The wolves came over and sat and waited patiently. " me, scar and toxic saw humans on the outer edge of our territory, they had weapons and they drove machines" dark Knight announced. The pack became panic stricken. "Don't worry, we are stronger, meeting dismissed" dark Knight yowled. The pack became worried but some brushed it off.
