The actual garden party

Lunar's pov :
I started getting ready for the night and all the nerves slowly died down. I jumped into the shower and washed my hair. After i got out i got into some clothes and used my Dyson hair dryer to blow dry my hair after that was all dried i grabbed my GHD hair straighteners. When my hair was all straight i started doing all my makeup. I grabbed my drunk elephant moisturiser and bronzing drops and put it all over my face. I finished up my makeup and put my dress on. I couldn't believe this was all happening. The time was 5.00pm and we all walked outside took some pictures and got into the Audi. I got AUX and played some d-block Europe, central cee and more. It took around 45 minutes to get there. When we arrived we went through these gates to see a massive water fountain. We parked up the car and the doors opened up for us. My sister grabbed my hands and we where greeted by Prince William and Princess Kate with there 3 kids behind them struggling to keep there giggles in.

"hello my old friend" William spoke to my dad
"hello William this is my wife Lydia and my 2 daughters Lunar and Sophia" said my dad
"Hello your royal highness's" said my mum
"please just call everyone by there names let's leave all that posh stuff outside the gates" William said laughing
Kate turned around to George, charlotte and Louis and told them to introduce themselves to us. After all that we walked into the palace. Where i saw Prince Edward, Duchess sophie, Lady Louise and James,earl of Wessex. They all walked up to us and greeted us.

James's pov :

I was talking to my sister Louise until my dad said ah they are here i looked out the window to see this tall brunette girl in a pink dress her hair was long straight and thick. They where talking to Cousin William and Kate as they made there way in i looked in her direction she was beautiful she had these ocean blue eyes skin looked smoother than ever. As soon as i knew it we where walking over to them

Lunar's pov :

From our left Prince Edward and his family where coming over.I looked to see this boy who seemed about 5'8 with beautiful eyes.He was looking straight at me. They walked over and we shook there hands and as soon as i was shaking James's hand we made uncontrollable eye contact with each other. I didn't think anything of it and we all started talking.
"Please feel free to help yourself to anything everyone knows who u guys are don't be scared to say hi to anyone" Edward said smiling
Charlotte came towards my sister and asked if she could play with her.My sister said yes smiling and they both ran into the garden together. I ended up talking to Kate and William as soon as they where called to do something i walked to the doors of the garden and was speechless to how beautiful and big it was. Until out of nowhere i felt this voice come up next to me and say it's beautiful isn't it i turned my head and it was james he was smiling at me.
"yes,yes it is" i said smiling back
"please let me take u around" he said
i followed him to the back areas of the garden where no one could actually see us. It was so nice and peaceful we where sat in front of this smaller water fountain with loads of coins in there. We where just talking about life and everything and what it was like for him to be in the royal family.

James's pov:

I stared into her eyes she was beautiful i'd never seen someone like her before we had so much in common i saw she was getting cold because her teeth where chatting
" are u cold lunar" i asked
"just a little bit but i'll be fine" she said
i took my blazer off and put it over shoulders so she wasn't as cold as she was.
" you really didn't have to do that james"
" no i did i got brought up to be a gentleman" i said laughing
we both just sat there until her phone starting getting lots of notifications from snapchat. I couldn't see exactly who was messaging her not that i was trying to be nosy just was curious. I wondered if she had a boyfriend. I thought in my head i wanted to keep in touch with this girl and then as soon as i knew it i was asking for her snapchat.
"hey lunar, do u have snapchat maybe we could add each other so we can stay in touch?" i asked
"oh yeah of course that would be great" she replied
She put her snap into my phone and we walked back together just talking and laughing. We got back to the palace where she gave me my blazer.
" thank you for letting me wear that james it was so kind of you" she said smiling
" it's not worries honestly i would rather be cold than you" i said

Lunar's pov :

we went back into the palace to go find everyone and all the children where sat around a fire pit so we went and joined them.
" where have u guys been everyone has been looking for you" savannah said
"oh yeah sorry guys we went on a walk" james said
after that my parents came and got me and Sophia and told us to say our goodbyes. We stood up and said bye to everyone.

when it got to james he pulled me in for a hug with his hands round my waist which gave me butterflies and then he said
"please don't be scared to message lunar. i want to be in contact with u"
"of course james" i said smiling
"message me when u get home please" he said
"okay james if u insist" i say laughing

We then left the palace when what james said to me hit me. Did james care about me ? or am i just taking it the wrong way ?
