I needed to gather myself, wondering why I was behaving like a child who had just been given a candy or a lollipop. I had to compose myself and confront this destroyer head-on. Yes, I had to. I was determined to emerge victorious because facing this battle in front of me was far better than facing my second query of the month at the office, something I knew I couldn't handle right now.

As I stepped out of the car to confront the agent of darkness who sought to destroy my car (or rather, the company's car), I realized that the voice that had left me disoriented belonged to not just any lady, but the most beautiful creature I had ever laid eyes upon. Yes, I called her a creature because I was convinced that God must have been in an exceptionally good mood the day He created her.

"Um, I'm so sorry. Did I hurt you? I lost concentration for a minute. I wasn't thinking. I'm so sorry. I hope you're not hurt. Did I do much damage? Are you okay?" She was rambling on while I was busy sizing her up, lost in a dreamy state, marveling at how perfectly her eyebrows were drawn. Were they natural, or had she had them lasered? She wasn't wearing much makeup, just a touch here and there, with most of her focus on her lips. What had she used to make them look so plump and glowing? I knew I had to find out, but to do so, I needed to snap out of the trance I was currently in. When I finally did, I realized she was so close I could feel her breath, smell her fragrance. My God! How do you fight something you don't understand? I had already lost the battle before this war even began.
