While Alara was avoiding Ayaan, he on the other hand was drowning in guilt. He understood it was so low of him to react that way. Even though he was made to understand it, it still made sense.

"I fucked up"

"Okay?" Vihaan was waiting for him to continue.

Ayaan had called him saying it was an emergency but since his arrival he had been sitting there idle.

"I left Alara"

"What do you mean you left her" Vihaan panicked at this new piece of information.

"Look we got like intimate last night and I just left her"

Vihaan didn't say anything and just stared at the guy in front of him.

"ARE YOU CRAZY!?? I MEAN YOU'RE DEFINITELY CRAZY"

"That's not helping. Just tell me how to fix this mess."

"Ayaan, you just can't 'fix it' magically. Own up your mistakes and just go and talk to her. "

Ayaan sighed at Vihaan's remark and made his way back.

He was currently at her office waiting in the lobby for her. Just then, Mehek was leaving her cabin and moving towards Alara's cabin and noticed him waiting for her.

"Wait are you here for real?" she looked at him in surprise. Ayaan rarely showed up to Alara's office. It was always through Vihaan.

He sighed at her remark and handed over the bouquet to Mehek.

"Give this to her on my behalf."

"You aren't paying me just so you know and even Alara wouldn't prefer me doing this job."

"Mehek look, I'm not in the position to face her myself okay. J-just give this to her." He rubbed his head in nervousness.

Mehek looked at him confused. First of all, The Ayaan Fucking Dutta was stuttering and secondly, he was nervous and looked shit scared. Ayaan and nervousness do not go well in the same line and here he was panicking outside Alara's cabin.

"Alright I'll pass this on to her." He simply nodded and left her office. Mehek knocked Alara's cabin only to find it empty. She kept the bouquet on her desk and went back to resume her work.

Alara was in her apartment postponing all her shoots. She was busy sketching- a habit that she picked on from her Badi Ma Sara. Alara had always looked upto Sara and was impressed with her artistic skills. Just then, her phone started ringing. It was Akash. She was hesitant to attend the call, but still picked up the call.

"Hello"

"Hey Di, I know you're busy, but can you come to Mayor's Cafe in a few minutes. We need to talk."

Alara was quiet for some time. She didn't want to go but still agreed for the sake of the bond she had with her brother and agreed to him. She quickly took a shower and proceeded to get ready but noticed her arms. It had been a few days and it had already started to scar. She ignored the thoughts and searched for a proper dress to cover her arms and after multiple attempts finally found one.

She hated wearing full sleeves yet had no other option after the stunt she pulled. She spotted Akash and went towards him to see him seated along with Sania.

Akash was surprised to see her. He never expected her to show up.

"Hii" Sania happily hugged Alara and they all settled down. They chatted for a while and Sania excused herself to use the washroom. It was just the siblings.

"You hate wearing full sleeves and moreover its summer. You know you can tell me if something is wrong right?" Alara hated how observant Akash was. He was generally a reserved person but a very good observer. She just shrugged off the question and Sania joined them again.

"So what's the occasion?" Alara looked at them expectantly as she knew something came up when Akash called her. He barely calls people and not unless it's an emergency.

Sania looked at Akash who smiled back at her and both of them turned to Alara.

"We are planning to get married."

Alara was sipping on her drink and nodded nonchalantly. only after a few minutes her words got registered in her mind. She literally chocked on her drink and looked at them wide eyed.

"YOU WHAT? Wait are you guys for real?" She looked at Akash who was trying hard not to blush.

"Rue when was thisss" Alara laughed and was so happy for her brother.

"We've been private about our relationship Di. You're the first person to know this." Akash looked at his sister affectionately.

"God I'm so happy for you both. Bade Papa will be delighted to hear that you are marrying his friend's daughter."

"Yes yes. We're visiting them next." Akash spoke with a glint of happiness in his eyes.

They continued talking about their life and parted ways. Alara was heading back to her office. Her office had turned into her apartment after the commotion that happened that night.

Somewhere he had hurt her so bad that she couldn't deal with it. It seemed like a result of all the unresolved issues she had with herself. She couldn't bring herself to forgive him easily, especially when he never apologized to her in person.

It was around 11pm when she received a call from Sania. Surprised to see her call at this hour Alara picked up the call.

"Hey Sania. Any problem? You've called me this late?" She asked with concern.

"No no, I'm sorry to disturb you this late, but I feel like I really need to talk to you about this."

"Alright go ahead and tell me what's bothering you." Alara waited patiently for Sania, but she was hesitant.

"So Mehek, your manager..."

"I'm listening. What about her?"

Sania took a deep breath and exhaled. She wanted to tell Alara about it but at the same time was worried about that it would ruin the relationship Alara had with Mehek. With a deep thinking, she finally decided to confess.

"Mehek is my own sister."

Alara was silent. She didn't know what to respond and all she could say was.

"Oh."
