Madame Kaji

The three walk their way down town while Mizu stayed focused, Chikyu was distracted. Ringo always followed his master and never left his side. Chikyu stopped by the docks to see the water flowing. It looked beautiful to her, watching the water flow, wondering how deep it is beneath the water. Perhaps there is life laying below. Of course there are fish, but what if there is something bigger down there?
Mizu stops to let several monks pass by as they play their flutes. She stops one to give money to. The monk bows as Mizu bows back. "Faster, they're about to start!" Says a man running to the town square. "Come on. It's gonna be a bloodbath. Hurry up." Mizu looks at Ringo and looks behind him to see Chikyu was distracted once again. "Chikyu!" The twin looks away from the ocean to return to reality and follows her sister.

The three of them arrive at the spot where a fight was going to be held. Ringo went to look at a few posters and saw the confirmation that it was indeed a fight. "A duel?" The twins got in front to see everything that would happen. Everyone was placing their bet on who would win the fight. Both twins saw two swordsmen, standing apart from each other, ready to use their steal. "A death duel." Ringo gasped. Chikyu looked at each man, studying their eyes to their face to their body language. One of them was quite sure he would win. And the other, he just seemed still, quiet. He bows to his opponent and readies his sword. Everything went quiet. The man on the right fully unsheathes his sword and is ready to attack. The anticipation grew as everyone waited for one of them to attack. Chikyu's eyes remained on the anonymous man as Mizu payed attention to the other.

They finally moved, but it was so fast you could miss it. The strange man clicks his sword back into place as the other gasps. His neck sprayed blood on the white snow as his body falls, dying. The other opponent turns to bow to his fallen opponent, showing his respect. The crowd claps. "The Painter's Signature. Immaculate." Mizu states. A man from beside them threw his hat out of frustration losing the bet. "Should I find us an inn for the night?" Ringo asked. Mizu adjusts her glasses and turns around as Chikyu followed. "No. We need a brothel."

It was now dusk. Every woman and man were out and about walking into brothels, watching women from the outside. Dim lights to set the mood, the twins were heading in the right direction. "Master." Ringo called trying to get Mizu's attention. "Master? You do know what they do in brothels? Master?" He asked, unaware of why they seek a brothel. Chikyu was familiar with this sort of environment. Men coming into brothels just for their gratification. She found that both men and women were strange in their own ways. Mizu knew that two.
The twins then stop to look up at a particular brothel. Ringo bumps into Mizu and looks in the direction they looked. "Here." The twins said in perfect sync. They all enter the brothel and feel the comfortable warmth inside. A man stood there, drinking sake. His face was red like a cherry. Possibly indicating he was slightly drunk. He set his cup down to greet the three. "Welcome, sir. Welcome. We are pleased to have you select us from options." He sees Chikyu by Mizu's side. He must've assumed she was going to be traded. "And who is this?" He asks gesturing to Mizu's twin. "My sister."
"Ah. My apologies. I assumed you came here to trade." He laughs a little, admits he made a mistake to assume. "Do you happen to have an appointment?"
"Madame Kaji is the proprietor here. We would like to see her."
"Madame Kaji's clients book months ahead. If you prefer older women, we cater to every taste."
"Our taste is to be seen by Madame Kaji." Mizu was persistent. The man smiled and bows, opening the other side of the door.

The strong smell of incense, cheap sake and sweat filled the room. There were many men and women, preforming all sorts of intimate and peculiar acts. "You can wait here." The man bows. The three sit down in their spot to wait for Madame Kaji. "You do have money?" He asked. Mizu took out her bag, showing him she's able to pay. The man bows once more and leave as a prostitute came over serving them tea. Chikyu decided to lay down and close her eyes for a bit. "What are you doing?" Mizu asked. "Finding a way to pass the time." Chikyu answered, using her scarf to cover her eyes. Mizu didn't think nothing of it so she let her sleep. "Ringo, this will be some time. If you'd like to explore the harbor..."
"An apprentice should stay with his master." Ringo said, paying attention to what was going on in the brothel. This was going to be a while.
