The party have finally made it into baldurs gate Sorin stayed close to astarion as he's told Sorin about his siblings as the party was making there way through baldurs gate they came across a carnival which karlach wanted to check out as they were exploring the carnival Sorin separated from the group a bit and came across a displacer beast in a cage as he approached the cage the displacer beast looked towards him shadow whiskers: another good sorin: why good (A/N sorin has a charm that allows him to speak with animals because having halsin there would have made the dialogue harder to write ) shadow whiskers: my time comes I will so you all of you Sorin: so me what exactly sorin said softly looking at the beast shadow whiskers: look see the crowed how they laugh how they shine with innocents but it is a lie everyone of you is vicious you kill my mate and steel my cubs I roar break my cage and you die you will all die Sorin: you poor thing has suffered so much give me a minute Sorin said examining the cage he noticed that the log was old and shouldn't be hard to break looking to make sure no one was paying attention sorin quickly broke the lock using his sword he then opened the door allowing the displacer beast to escape sorin: there you are your free now shadow whiskers: thank you kind soul the beast said as she snuck off as the beast ran off sorin looked for the rest of the party it wasn't hard do find them thanks to karlach he quickly made his way towards astarion astarion: where in the hells were you sorin i may or may not have released a displacer beast from her cage astarion just started at Sorin wide eyed as they made towards a stage where a clown and dog were performing dribbles: buddy the dog is my very best friend do you want to know why little girl: why? Dribbles: because with him anything is pawsible wha hey dribbles said waiving his arms around astarion: oh good puns because clowns aren't enough of a horror already astarion said laughing nervously Sorin: you're afraid of clowns astarion: darling somethings are worst then any other horror we've encountered Sorin couldn't help but chuckle as he held astarion's hand which the shorter vampire smiled at dribbles: did you hear about the scarecrow that lost a fight he got the stuffing kicked out of him wha hey the crowd started clapping dribbles: oh you're all such good friends I've had a wonderful time but I have to go little girl: awww dribbles: oh well if you insist how about a magic trick I need a volunteer someone with nerves of steel and the heart of a lion who would it be whhoo you my special assistant come on up dribbles said looking at tav tav: you love the spotlight astarion this is your big chance astarion: what no don't you dare this isn't funny astarion said to tav angry dribbles: oof my heart the enthusiasm is to much now up up double sharp or poor buddy will think you don't like him right there oooh perfect tav: go on astarion tav gesturing astarion up the stage astarion: of course what fun I'm going to fucking kill you astarion said the last part under his breath while waiving and making his way up the stage Sorin: tav I would very much appreciate it if you would stop putting my partner I there predicaments Sorin as he made his way towards tav tav: come on I mean after the last one you two did confess your feelings towards each other tav said nervously sorin in return just glared at tav dribbles:now you are very special as special as could be does anyone know why  little girl: whhyy dribbles: you're special my friend and I have a message just for you praise the absolute dribbles said with sinister grin then buddy started attacking astarion knocking him over dribbles also started attacking him Sorin: ASTARION Sorin yelled running to his rescue as Sorin was getting onto the stage dribbles: BUDDY ATTACK HIM buddy turned his attention towards Sorin and charged at him the paladin didn't have enough time to react as buddy knocked him off the stage and onto his back by that point astarion gotten up and was fending off dribbles the rest of the party was running towards the vampires aid when a giant flash of black knocked buddy off of Sorin allowing him to get up the flash of black was the displacer beast he helped after about a hour the fight was over buddy and dribbles were dead the displacer beast approached sorin Sorin: thank you for your aid shadow whiskers: and I thank you for freeing me and although I couldn't save my mate I'm happy to have been of aid saving yours Sorin blushed a bit at the beasts words Sorin: so what do you wish to do now that you're free shadow whiskers: I wish to travel with you kind one Sorin: do you have a name I go by Sorin shadow whiskers: I go by shadow whiskers but you may call me shadow Sorin: alright shadow you may travel with shadow: thank you Sorin shadow said rubbing her head against sorin's leg astarion: I assume that's the displacer beast you released from her cage Sorin: yes her name is shadow tav: I don't know Sorin is it really a good idea having a displacer beast at camp Sorin: Tav we already have scratch and a owl bear cub at camp of course shadow can stay with us besides she did help me and astarion
