It was November, when the British authorities declared their country of mourning for the death of Edward III, ruler of Britain. This meant that the plans of the revolutionaries could finally continue with complete success. France was divided into two zones: the Revolutionaries and the Monarchs, with the Revolutionaries holding the greater part together with Paris. King Touji I continued not to give up and also tried to convert the French to be on his side. There were also several battles between the revolutionaries and the monarch's side, which caused even more casualties in France. The revolutionaries met again at their residence, with more guards at their head. They met in the afternoon to discuss current losses and achievements. However, they wanted to finally hear the truth about who helped the king get out of their net. Kiana cleared her throat and said aloud for all eyes to pay attention to her.
- Listen! I know you've been waiting for this for a long time, but I have good news and bad news in one. We found out who's behind the King's escape. I understand you've had any suspicions about who's behind all this? Who is the perpetrator of such an unreasonable act? Who caused him to suffer for his own cause? So, this person betrayed us, who's been in hiding since the escape, and we've been looking for her in vain. Yes, that's the Capoleon.
The revolutionaries were angry that Capoleon had betrayed them and had received important information that he could use against them, but the most important fact was that he had freed the king. Alexander felt only anger and disgust towards the former revolutionary, but the disgust fell on him and all he could say was out of an outburst of emotion. For a moment he tried to hold it in, but it was ineffective.
- Ungrateful pig, does not even know what will happen to him soon!-
Cam looked at him with a slight smile and raised her eyebrow.
- Well, what do we have here? Are you going to do that to that traitor? I'm guessing your actions are already planned since... you're so depressed about it. - Cam said that with a little smile on her face, it was a pretty mean smile. Alexander immediately changed his mind, seeing how ridiculous he was according to Cam at the moment. He finally choked out the words he wanted to say.
- Of course, I just... I need enough time and I'm sure it'll work out.
- Remember, what you do will not only be a testament to you, but also to all of us... so be careful.- Kiana replied, folding her arms. Alexander nodded slightly and did not speak for a while, the revolutionists continued to analyze and develop the plan concerning the revolution, they also had a grand plan which would make the side of the revolution very strong. Now, let's talk about the side of the monarch, it was, as we know, a smaller part of France as to the part of the revolutionists... its landscapes are beautiful, one might say, a pity to destroy them by the battlefields and by the wars waged by the two sides. Today, Touji I was supposed to speak to his soldiers and generals, Touji I had everything he wanted to say in his head, finally proudly and courageously stepped out into the light of day to see his soldiers waiting for him to speak. Touji I cleared his throat and began to say:
-Today I say to you, my soldiers... times are changing... our enemy is growing more and more and more dangerous. We can change that by uniting France as before, but as a newborn. There will be no hunger, no death! And all the horrible things we have so far. With our bravery and courage, we can change the future for the better, making France a country that will not suffer from us, from all who dare to touch it.- The chants of joy were loud around them, and with the last cry, Touji I declared: "Together... we are and will be the Touji Empire!- Touji heard only the cries of joy coming from the mouths of his men, generals... he managed to move his subordinates, at that moment. Touji felt proud of himself when he heard cries:
- Vive la france! Viva la Touji I !- shouted the soldiers, motivated to fight the revolutionaries. After the cheers, they moved on to their jobs which they had to do today. Touji I went into his tent and sighed, looking into the carpet that was on the ground, replacing the floor. Touji I said to himself quietly clutching his shirt.
- This time... I'll save them and show my power.- He closed his eyes saying it, not realizing there was someone else inside looking at him.
- Hm? Is our king doubting himself?- said a strange voice, after a moment Touji I looked at the person with surprise.
- Ah, sorry for frightening our king, I was not going to do that...- The person said and looked at him with a brave face.
- Who are you, what are you doing here? - Touji I said slightly upset by the fact that this person could hear what he was saying.
- Ah, what manners... I'm the one who wants to join the army.- she continued with a proud expression that never ceased to fade.
- Interesting... but specifically? Who are you.- Touji I needed specifics about this person, he didn't trust her under any circumstances, but who would trust in such a situation? That would be completely absurd.
- Well, I'm Nyx. Former tsarist postman.- She sighed, speaking specifically about herself.
- The Tsar's mailman! But how is it!? Wait... you betrayed the Tsar of Russia!?- Touji I said with amazement and surprise, he never expected it. The surprise could be seen in his eyes along with the feature on his face.
- You can say... for me in Russia there is no place, I personally prefer to fight in your army than to struggle there with the stingy tsar.- Nyx explained.
- Besides... if you were in danger and the Tsar attacked you... I would have helped you... I have some useful information on the subject..- Nyx said with a giggle, Touji I thought Nyx did not realize how serious the situation was.
- Well... you obviously don't realize the dangers of battle, but you can't refuse such a... willing person..- Touji I said after a moment sighing. Nyx's face smiled more, it was pure joy.
After a moment General Lourdens came, saying aloud:
- Dear King...- She stopped what she wanted to say and looked at the new person she met and then at the King.
- Who is it?- She asked in a slightly overwhelmed voice.
- A new member of the army.- Touji I replied briefly.
- Now let him go to his own... let him receive his uniform and equipment...with accommodation.- Touji I added after a moment, looking dry at Nyx and then at Lourdens.
- That's right!- Nyx saluted and left the royal tent. After a few minutes of silence, the King finally spoke.
- So... go ahead, something new?- he asked impatiently.
- Actually? We can only worry about what the revolutionaries are planning, because there are rumors that they will sign deals with the British against us. Lourdens said, with her hands behind her back, she was not happy with the fact that the revolutionaries were getting stronger and stronger.
- Ah I see... the situation has not improved. - The King said his last words with a snarling under his nose.
- Exactly, well... I must go now because as a general I cannot neglect my duties. - Lourdens walked away after a moment. The king said not a word, he was silent while Lourdens was gone. Touji I kirdy finally was himself looking at the papers talking to himself.
- Edward...why aren't you here with me...would you help me...like a true friend, wouldn't you?- Touji said in a whisper, slightly saddened by Edward's death which he had recently learned, he couldn't believe it was true, that his friend he loved was not in this world.. Touji I knew that no matter who you were, what you were doing, death would still be with us and take some sooner or later. Death sniffed on every person wanting to take them away at the right time. Death was also decided by fate, which was the guide of every person's history, which sooner or later also ended in death. Now I will make reading more pleasant for dear readers, because now I will tell you about Paris, where Touji II has been for several days, every day since his return to France he has seen the streets looking neglected and the place of execution together with the guillotine. It was all because of the revolution... all that is here will soon die or rot in solitude and then into oblivion. Sooner or later, everyone will forget our horrible existence, it's the rules of life. No matter if you are a terrible person, a great person, you will still be forgotten by everyone after the years of your greatness, but if you are remembered you will be loved or hated for a period of time. This period will come to an end and become oblivion, whether we like it or not. Well, I've been talking to the reader about oblivion and death... which is boring, isn't it? Now, as the writer of this part of the story, I will continue it... and tell you about Louis, also known as Touji II.
It was afternoon, the young man was walking through the streets of Paris, thinking... at last he was in Paris, not knowing what to do next... because he had learned of his father's escape from the hands of the revolutionaries. A woman was walking in the opposite direction to which he was going, the young man did not notice her, because he was so thoughtful that he could not think of the things he saw before his eyes, Touji II clumsily bumped into a woman holding a basket of different things, it was food and all kinds of materials. Touji II pale when he saw that he had run into an innocent woman, the woman was shocked by the situation that had happened at that moment.. the young man himself felt stupid and finally said the first words:
- I apologize for causing a problem by my thinking!- he said in a confused voice, he did not intend to do it on purpose, after a moment he stood up and watched as the woman was weighing things into the basket that fell after the young man ran into her.
- No need to apologize, you can go now...- she said in a slightly nervous voice.
- But don't be nervous dear lady... I want to help.- After a while Touji II helped to collect things and put the woman in the basket.
- Please leave me alone! I know you're one of those who can persecute me... and it's always been so!" said the woman when she heard that the young man wanted to help her.
- I'm very sorry, but... I don't quite understand what you're saying... I'm not that kind of man. I'll cut my hand off that it's true!- Touji II said. After a minute's silence, the woman said...
- Well... you can say I take your word for it. - said the woman uncertainly.
- So how can I repay for the damage done?- Touji II said gently trying to improve the situation that happened...
- But you don't have to.- The woman said and waved her hands, it meant she didn't have to do anything for her.
- I must... it is not fitting to leave you in such harm.- The young man said, he wanted to help her so much that he was almost saddened by it. The woman was slightly moved by this behavior and said:
- Well... could you take the basket with me to the homeless children, I'd appreciate it.- The woman said, handing the basket to the young man.
- Of course! The young man said, and after a while they both went towards the house where the homeless children were arriving. The woman asked for company on the way because she was afraid that some man, cruel or ugly, would dare to touch her, and if she were with that young man, it would change and no one would dare to touch her... while they were walking there was an awkward silence, Touji II wanted to say something, but the first words were the woman who dared to say.
- You're not like other men... most of the men I've met have looked more at my beauty... but you don't... but it's better for you, because women prefer nicer men, not trash. - Said the woman looking at him from the angle of his eye, the young man noticed that she felt more and more comfortable around him, which made great joy for him.
- Thank you... I am not looking for any specific relationship, I prefer a simple friendship.- replied Touji II briefly.
- Just a friendship? I understand... as far as friendship is concerned, I can offer you one, but you have to promise me something.Said the woman and stopped, and the young man with her.
- Hm? "What is this thing?" he asked, looking at the woman curiously.
- You have to promise me that you will never fall in love with me.- said the girl looking into his eyes. Touji II was slightly surprised by this promise, but after a moment he nodded and said.
- Fine, I promise I'll never fall in love with you.
- Thank you, now you don't have to call me ma'am... you can call me friend... Amelia. - Amelia said smiling slightly, after a while they continued their way home for homeless children. Touji II suddenly remembered he hadn't introduced himself... and after a while he said to the girl.
- I apologize for my manners... I forgot to introduce myself, I am Louis.- Touji II said his middle name which he had, not to reveal that he was the son of the King.
- Louis... Well, I forgive you for that fact... because it is quite trivial.- Amelia said and giggled, so the conversation continued, they talked more and more and talked about each other what they liked and disliked. Touji II felt the joy of spending time and meeting a new person, finally reaching the home of homeless children, Touji II watched Amelia give something to each of the poor children, he was very moved. It seemed that Amelia was a person with a big heart, which was not often to meet. Amelia walked up to the young man and said. -Thank you very much, for your help, Louis.- Amelia smiled slightly, and Touji II returned that smile.
- There's no need to thank you... so we'll meet again someday?- He asked Touji II, Amelia's expression changed and she was surprised to ask about it.
- Of course it is... but now we must go our separate ways to meet again.- Amelia answered in a soft voice.
- So goodbye, Amelia.- Touji II bowed and left. Amelia watched Touji II leave, hoping they would meet again.
