Author POV'S

Paridhi's happiness is on cloud nine. She still can't believe that Abhimanyu's family has sent a marriage proposal to her family. She had feared that her family might disagree, but they had given their consent.

As she sees Abhimanyu sitting next to her, her heart swells with joy.

Sumitra, smiling warmly, hands him the ring. He extends his hand and gently slips the ring onto Paridhi's finger, giving her a small, encouraging smile as he looks at her innocent face.

Paridhi, blushing, extends her hand towards him and places the ring on his finger, her eyes shining with happiness as she gives him a shy smile.

The room erupts in blessings and congratulations as everyone starts discussing further preparations. Sumitra looks towards the door when she hears the sound of a car pulling up.

Moments later, Kalyani enters the room. Paridhi's family members stand up suddenly, confused by her unexpected arrival. Kalyani walks straight to Paridhi and Abhimanyu, blessing them both. They touch her feet respectfully and then stand up.

"May God bless you as a couple," Kalyani says warmly.

She then presents a gift to Paridhi, saying, "This is a gift from our side to the future daughter-in-law." Paridhi looks at her parents and Sumitra for approval. Sumitra, smiling, encourages her, "Take it, beta. It is a token of love from the elders."

Paridhi accepts the gift with gratitude, her heart overflowing with joy and anticipation for the future.

Paridhi takes the gift and touches Kalyani's feet again in gratitude. Aarti quickly brings something for Kalyani, hesitating about whether she will accept it, but Kalyani takes it graciously.

Sumitra inquires, "Where is he? Hasn't he come?"

Kalyani replies, "He is coming..."

Then she continues, "Pandit ji has said that the marriage date is either in one month or after one year."

Kalyani turns towards everyone and asks, "What do you think?"

Rajesh looks at his wife and mother before saying, "Whatever you feel is right."

Sumitra chimes in, "Look, since the roka ceremony is already done, it wouldn't be good to delay for so long. Let's fix the date for the wedding after one month."

Everyone agrees with her suggestion.

As they start discussing the wedding preparations, the room falls silent when Baldev walks in.

"Badi Thakurain, Bade Thakur have arrived," he announces.

Paridhi, who had been stealing glances at Abhimanyu with a smile, freezes upon hearing Baldev's announcement. She doesn't realize that Thakur Sahab is also on his way. Gripping the glass tightly, she feels a wave of nervousness wash over her, causing her hands to tremble. Something slips from her grasp, falling onto her clothes, and she looks down with a mixture of apology and fear.

Sumitra notices her distress and advises her to go inside before her dress gets ruined. Paridhi is grateful for the excuse and hurries into the room before he arrives.

Meanwhile, everyone greets the arrival of the esteemed guest, and Abhimanyu nods in acknowledgment. Sumitra discreetly signals to Abhimanyu to go, and he rises from his seat.

Abhimanyu holds Rudra in high regard, viewing him almost as an elder brother. Despite the age gap, he feels compelled to seek Rudra's blessings for his future life. Rudra reciprocates by embracing Abhimanyu warmly and congratulating him on the journey ahead.
