Chapter 6

Alastor POV

My my such a small place but still delightful. I smile as I walk in this lovely establishment. Looking I see the theme in the ocean. Haven't see the ocean for 90 years.

The smell of sweet overpowers it. I see Charlie talking to a woman who must be the owner. Lovely little thing. Part of is telling me that I know her. But nothing important

"Hello my dear lady I just wanna say my name is Alastor pleasure to meet you and your lovely bakery"I snake her had as I smile.

She just smiles back and shake my hand. No fear...no fear at all coming from this woman. That's a first....very entertaining.

"Hello my name is Y/N. May I take your order?" She smiles at me with a nicest smiles ever. This feeling in my chest..I felt it before when I was alive.

"Just. Coffee my dear" I say as I play her a 20$. She nods and starts it. I sit down at a table and watch her. I glance at Husk and he's even shocked she's not afraid of me.

The lovely girl comes back with my tea and some cookies. "Dear...I didn't order this" my voce started to go Static. My smile turning demonic as I see Charlie and the gang back away.

This woman is still smiling. No fear! I don't get it! "I can tell that you don't like sweets. So I made this dark chocolate chip cookies that I think you will like. If you don't like I can take them back sir" she bows and goes back to taking orders.

I stare at the cookies she made. I lift one up and I take a bite. My whole body stif up. My mind starts to go back when I was human

*flashback*

I'm starting to walk home with my prey dragging behind. What a lovely hunt. This is my biggest buck! How I love to watch them die.

I place the buck in the shed to slice it up later. I see its blood got on my jacket.
"My my Y/n darling will scold me again about the blood"

I enter the house and see my loving wife setting the table. Her eyes so innocent and humming a lovely tune. She noticed me and give me a smile.

"Dear your home. You must be freezing. You got blood on your jacket again?" She pouts as I hand her the jacket. My, she just so perfect when she pouts.

Ever since I met her she been my calming lullaby. She helps me from those voices. I was so happy when she said yes to my proposal.

I hate to hide my true self from her but if she saw me killing and eating my prey...she would see me as a monster. I can't let that happen! She's mine!

"Ah yes my love. I tried to be careful but I  know you'll do your best to help" I smile loving at her. I lean in to kiss her lips. The taste of her lips

*flasback ends*

"Al..are you okay?" Charlie taps my shoulder . Normally I hate when someone touch me but she just woke me up.

I quickly eat the rest of my cookies as Y/N comes back with my change. I stand up fast not looking at her"

"Keep the change darling" I say as I teleport out of there to my room. I sit at my desk with my head pouncing. My memories filled with her coming back after 90 years. The voices telling me I that it's her.

I smile so wide at the thoughts I had. "I found her...my beloved wife...after all this time...I found you"

Y/N POV

I'm just so confused. Two customs just left quickly. I hope my sweets wasn't the cause of it. I'll think a bit it later.

"Y/N your sweets are the best! I can't believe how tasty they are!" Charlie smiles as has another bite of her red velvet cake. I got a decent amount  of costumers! I gave the last customers a box of sweets. Looks like he was getting them for his boss. Well I hope he likes them!
