Kent POV
Pain... I felt nothing but pain as I land on the ground, blood spilling out my chest after that stab.
Coughing up blood as I felt Y/N right next me, trying to stop my bleeding. Tears falling down her cheeks as she does her best to help.
"Stupid fool..he go in the way! If I can't have her soul! No one can!" I see the Voodoo guy charge at us again but Lucifer uses his powers to lift him up in the air.
"Looks like you didn't learn, what a waste to take revenge." He says as he looks clam like this was nothing.
Coughing up blood, I can feel myself getting weak. Fuck I'm bleeding a lot.
"Hang on! We'll get help..the can fix you and you'll be back to normal!" Y/N explains more to herself than me. Fuck I know I'm not gonna make it.
"Hey..kiddo..I don't think that's gonna happen." I cough up more blood as I try to talk. Knowing this might be my last chance.
"No don't say that! You're my only family here! Just hang on please! I can't lose family again!" She's sobbing now as I felt some of her tears fall on my face.
Weakly I lift my hand up to her, placing my hand on her cheek. Fuck I've always hated to see her cry.
"Y/N. I love you...you made ...me stronger even if I wasn't the best guardian..be stronger kiddo" I try to say as memories of her at 10 years hold smiling as I gave her a birthday give her always wanted.
"No no! Dad please!" Her sobs continues as she hold me close to her, barely feeling her warmth.
She called me dad...
"I love you..." using the last of my strength to tell her that as I feel my last breath gone.
She's gonna be okay. Her husbands will care for her.
Lucifer POV
Screams from Y/N fill the background as I just stare at Bayou. I stare at him as he under my control.
"I deserve the power! I was promised! I want the power I was promised!" The fool screams as he finally snapped.
"I spared your life, but that was my mistake. You look a life. Now I'm gonna take yours" I look at the group behind me.
" we should probably leave. I'm sure your friend Cherri Bomb is done setting up." I say as I walk towards a sobbing Y/N.
"I'm sorry for your loss..but I'm afraid we have to leave" I gently touch her shoulder but she holds the body tighter.
"I'm not leaving him!" She scream sobbing. Sighing I have no choice. I sprinkle some dust on her face, making her sleep. I hate to that but we don't have time.
"You...Angel I believe, take her and the rest back to the trucks. I will be there momentarily" he just nods and carries y/N in her back.
I stand facing Bayou as the group starts to leave the building.
"You never had the power. It was just given to you by Donovan. I was nice enough to let you live, this time you're gonna stay when this building is destroyed. Killing you in the process."
I turn and start walking out, Bayou screaming at me as I leave him floating in the air.
He deserves to die. Poor Y/N watching her family die again.
Charlie POV
I see the guys come back with Y/N in Angel's arms. I smile but that faded as soon as noticed Kent wasn't with them. No no!
"Guys what..."
"Bastard stabbed him protecting Y/N. She watched him die..." Angel says as he walks past me, heading to the truck.
Oh no! She watched another person she loved die. My heart breaks for her, suddenly my dad appears in front of me as the building starts to tumble down. Looks like the bombs set it off.
"I suggest we leave. Charlie.. we are done here." He says as he walks to the trucks. I look back at the building before running after my dad.
We saved Y/N..but lost Kent.
