Chapter 7

Vox POV
I groan as I do this bitch ass paperwork. How I just wanna burn it to ashes! I then hear one of my workers comes in. Yeah nothing is better than fear.

"H..hello sir I got your afternoon snack. Ms...velvet wanted to try a new place.." he shakes in fear as he speaks. Of course that annoying pest wanted to sweets. I look at see a slice of pie.

"This better be fucking worth it! Or I will burn that shit place to the  ground!"

I then take a bite of this pie. The face frozen. This taste...it can't be. I take another bite.

*flashback*

Im at home having breakfast with my wife. she refills my coffee as I eat my breakfast. Im just staring at her as I eat. Her humming a tune as she gets my lunch ready.

I still can't believe a guy like me got a gal like her. I remember went we met. I got lost at her home town and asked directions. Lucky me I asked her. Her smile when she was explaining that I lost my train of thought just looking at her.

Took me 3 tries but I got her to go on a date with me. Now we are married and I couldn't be happier.

"Victor don't forget to be home in time for dinner. I'm gonna bake you your favorite pie" thee she goes again. Me falling for her again.

"Yeah yeah I will try not to miss that last train...or just can miss work" I grab her hand and I pull her in my lap. She blushes so red as I hold her tight in my nap.

"I love you Y/N. You stole my heart" and I mean those words. I caress her cheek and I kiss her softly like.""

*flashback end*

The sound of the stupid worker snaps me out of it. I glare at him as I grab him by the collar. He shaking so much it's making me laugh.

"Where do you..get this from?" I say in the dark tone.

Valentino POV

I'm in my studio shooting another video. Bitch ass angel dust was a no show so I got a replacement. I smoke as I watch. I see one of the assistant comes to me shaking to give me a sweet. Oh yeah velvet says she was gonna try that new bakery.

I grumble as I look at the raspberry cheesecake. It's probably shit but I'm so hungry. Fuck it!

I take a bite and I'm in shock. I take another bite and it's taste familiar... and it's making my heart feel whole

*flashback*

I'm in a shit hole alley. In pain as I hold my ribs. Fuck that sneak attack. I should have seen it coming. I groan so much.

"Mister are you okay? Are you hurt?" I hear a soft voice. I growl as I turn to it and see the most beautiful woman I ever seen. I was struck by her beauty. Sure my girls at the club are pretty but she's beautiful!

I notice her trying to help me up and we painfully walk to her place which is close. I'm on her couch shirtless as she's tending to my wounds.

Normally I don't like help but her...she was different. Her H/C was down as she wore a blue headband. Her eyes screamed innocent and pure.

Sure girls throw themself at me and I love the whores. She just...I can't explain it.

"That should do it. If you're up to it,
I cut you a slice of my cheese cake. Stay as long as you like" she smiles and just like that I'm gone. I watch her pack her medical box up.

I grabbed her wrist and she turns to me shocked but calm. My heart beating so fast.  I never felt this way about a woman.

"Marry me." Jack ass why did you say that?! I just met her! Now she things I'm a fucking creep. Fuck fuck fuck!

I hear her giggle and smiles. That giggle sis so fucking cute.

"How about we start by getting to know each other" she leans In kisses my cheek.

*flashback ends*

"Boss! Boss!" I snap out of my trace as I saw everyone looking at me in what to do for the next scene.

I glare at everyone and the all take the hint to leave. I grab the assistant that brought the cake to me.  She yelps as I lift her up to my face level.

"where did you get these"

Y/N POV

I close up for the day. The store won't open till Friday cause I needed a break from the opening day. Cherri is helping me clean up and close up.

"Can believe how many fuckers really like sweets and you only had to forcibly kick two guys out. Badass there" Cherri bomb laughs as she sits in the counter

"What can I say? I hate people being so rude? Plus I learned from the fucking best"I smile at her as she laughs more.

"Oh yeah. Your friend angel...I hope he okay. If you see him give him this box of sweets. It's peanut butter cookies. I feel like her would like them." I hand her the box and her face dropped but she smiled.

"No problem baby doll. Now let eat I'm starving!"
