I looked at chresanto . he looked disgusted . no more than that . horrified . "call chyna to babysit we need to handle some things ." he said walking out . I quickly dialed . she picked up . "hello ?" she spoke . "code red" I replied . she gasped "I'm on my way !" . we hung up and I went to grab my things . chresanto walked out . "I'll meet you in the car." chyna pulled up shortly after . after hugging me tightly she said to me "good luck."
we pulled in chresanto's dad's driveway . he had a big house and a nice lawn full of flowers he and his wife planted . chresanto unlocked the door and called out . "mom ? dad? " mrs august was making cookies . I would have smiled at the smell but this wasn't a time for smiling . his dad walked out from the kitchen with cookie crumbs on his shirt . "hey kids ... now how y'all come around and don't bring my grand babies" shortly after momma august gasped ." they didn't bring maw maw babies ? now maybe I should pop up at y'all house to see them I never get to see them y'all outta be ashamed leaving ole poor maw maw in distress ." she started chuckling . the tension in the room began to thicken when everything got awkwardly silent. "y'all okay?... is it the twins?" mr . august asked . chresanto cleared his throat . "no everything's not ok . I'm going to cut right to the chase . I tested the child I thought I had with Bree the results came out to not be mine but have our dna in it . but the fathers name isn't chresanto .... it's johnny . "there's gotta be a mistake . " mrs august explained . "there's prove on the papers ma." he replied . we all looked at him . he stared down at the floor shaking his head . he was guilty. "let me explain" he said .
